Diff'rent Strokes: The Complete Fifth Season

Different Strokes hits different now that I'm older. The show covered so many societal topics. From racism, to equal rights, to guns and drugs. Most of which are still relevant today.Watched the episode titled "Memories" and I lost it!!I miss my momma too Arnold. 😥

Reliving my 2 favorite shows growing up is so awesome. I already owned every season of The Facts of Life and now, since every season of Diff'rent Strokes is getting released, I can now own this as well and relive some very fond childhood memories over and over anytime I want. Can't wait to get every season. The Final Season is to be released in May finally. Thank u Shout Factory for the great job you're doing getting these old shows on DVD with great picture quality and sound and at great prices

1 of my favorite sitcoms form the 80'"s. Received it today. Enjoying this DVD set. Looking forward to the last 3 seasons 6,7 and 8. We have facts of Life complete now all we need is Diff"rent Strokes Complete. Patiently waiting for the Rest of the season,. I love the older seasons with Janet Jackson and all the adults issues and Special episodes. Bicycle man. Say no to Drugs etc... Amazon was great as well. I receive on the Release date.

i enjoy watchin this show. they don't make this good anymore.

I received the DVD a lot sooner than expected! However I’m rating 3stars because a couple episodes on each disc freezes up and skips through the scenes. The very first episode moves slow like its walking through the episode playing. Other than that I have no complaints. I didn’t feel like sending it back and having to wait just to get another DVD. The funny thing is that the DVD doesn’t appear to be scratched at all.

Gary Coleman was very funny this season. He's so tiny you can put him in your pocket. Funny seeing Andrew Dice Clay trying to woo Kimberly and Jamie Gertz. Good season, last season before that damn red head Sam came along.

I've been a big fan of the different strokes ever since I was a kid, glad to see the rest of the seasons are coming out on dvd, The discs all play great, and the shipping was super fast, A++++

This season I was looking for and it finally came out . I enjoy this show so much! It's tasteful and wholesome ! It's very cute and funny I find it relaxing to watch before I go to sleep. I just love it ! If you want a real good family show, choose this one ! And the price is right !

Would not play on my machine as I didn’t realise it was the American version. To return it you need to send to Las Vegas USA at considerable cost I imagine. Not happy!
