I know that people laugh about Ryobi tools, but here's the thing. They're a good quality tool at a reasonable price. I spend a lot of time in my wood shop, and I ordered this saw for a light weight alternative for quick crosscuts. It worked out great. There's all the power I need, good battery life, and provides a decent cut. Go ahead and spend a couple of dollars on the Milwaukee or DeWalt when this does the same job and results.

This is a great saw. It came well packed, there wasn't an instruction/product guide, if you can't figure it out, you shouldn't be using this. It's not very heavy, (unlike big circular saws),It comes with a great blade too. I'm retiring my jig saw. Yery powerful, and it uses 18 volt Ryobi batteries, I have alot of Ryobi tools and 7 batteries. You will like this!!!

not too heavy plenty powerful bought as a replacement for my original saw that came in the set and it works great! A great little saw that keeps up with weekend projects just check to be sure that all nuts for angle and depth are tightened get a fully charged battery and your good to go! feels good in your hands too ( good grip )
