Small size, good looks, simple functionality, and excellent sound - a great combination. The amp looks and feels solid, no issues with the build quality and craftsmanship. The inputs look nice and the potentiometer feels sturdy. I installed the amplifier for a short test with the following setup: 19 V PSU, 2x 50 W 4 ohm bookshelf speakers, RCA in from a laptop. It sounded good - audio is clear with no noticeable distortion or noise. It was able to get very loud. Currently, the mids are strong and accurate. The highs are solid and clear. Lows/bass could be a little stronger and more rounded, comparable to my old low end Pioneer Hifi amplifier. I got a reasonable volume with this setup, it was the good time to replace the old setup with a new one. The amp didn't get warm to the touch during the 30 minute listening session. I'm pretty impressed with this little amp - great price for such a class d amplifier and I recommend it. Let's hope it will stay functional for a long time.

I’ve been using this little amp for about 2 years now and it’s fantastic. Great sound for the money, especially when setup properly. It was on my desk with monitors at ear level and the sound was phenomenal. Now they power the bookshelf speakers with audio from my turntable and it easily fills the house with plenty of range left on the knob. I’ll likely be getting another Fosi amp to replace this one so I can put this one at my desk. Highly recommend.

I bought this to drive two passive Polk bookshelf speakers and an active subwoofer. It works great. The power light is red and noticeable but not bright, and the little switch is nice. I like that it has few features. It's just power and volume. If you're branching off of one channel to send input to your subwoofer like I am, you will need to run at a much higher volume on this amp and lower the volume at the source. If you don't, the volume levels are very unbalanced. You may also be able to add a resistor on the speaker not tied to the subwoofer to fix this, but I haven't tried this. This isn't an issue, but it is something to note. Even with this "issue" I basically never go past 1/4 volume for my speakers. It can get way more than loud enough for bookshelf speakers.

OK, lived with it for a couple of weeks now, and am really very impressed. My background is a former budget audiophile who has been unable to set up a decent system for six years now- and decided to see what ChiFi is all about. Last system was vintage Amber Series 70 amp/Parasound preamp/NAD cd/Magnepan MMG and I'm comparing this to my memory of that. I've paired this Fosi AudioTPA3116 based integrated amp with Q Audio 3010 speakers and a Chromecast Audio. The Q Audios are small enough so that I'm unable to judge lower region bass availability, and the ChromeCast Audio means that I'm still dealing with Spotify compression, but with those caveats here we go... Very surprised at the available power and the control this had over the (small) speaker cones. Chose it because this board design appears to have more capacitors then others on Amazon, but I was used to having big cans in the Amber and was skeptical on it's high-current demand performance. At least with the small speakers I need not have worried, this sounds easy and effortless within it's smaller wattage environment. Don't sense the amp straining or playing catch-up with varied types of music. They say these things have around 90% efficiency, and it shocks me that there's this much push available from this tiny unit. If you're banging big speakers at high volume you may feel differently, but for normal/louder listening levels in a 300 sq ft room this just pours it out. Transparency and presence are very good, with believable voices and instruments that have impact and some resonance. Sound staging and imaging are also good with easily located musicians in a reasonably wide area- that area is a bit shallow though, without great depth, and the musicians sound slightly distant instead of right there in your room. The important caveat here is the Chromecast Audio limitations. I believe that these areas are particularly affected by streaming through Spotify rather than a direct connection from a disc player or lossless audio feed and my issues may well have to do with the source. The tonal quality does seem dry to me. Not harsh in any way, but vocals and stringed instruments particularly don't have the warmth that I prefer (very dry at first listen with typical improvement over time.) That being said, there's lots of detail here, and you can even hear a bit of breathing/fingering/striking. It's a more analytical approach, and really the amount of information available is extremely impressive for this price. I think this reflects the quality of the preamp that's in there, and that kinda leads to the idea that there's a very short signal path in this thing. With a really small board, no tone controls and only one input, seems to me that even though the chip is playing around with DSP in some way that I don't understand, there's a lot of 'straight wire with gain' positives here. This does not sound like an expensive high-bias AB amp with a 10 pound heat sink. Don't expect that, but this is a much better than anticipated integrated amp that is of high enough quality to allow for enjoyable critical listening and is great value! It sounds considerablly better than a typical 1980s/1990s mass market receiver, and at this price it's a ridiculous bargain. Back in the Dino days, you would pay much, much more money to get this kind of sound quality. A great entry into higher-end sonics.

First off let me say that I have also purchased a Fosi Class AB amplifier and I like very much. Having seen a youtube video showing the difference in the sine waves between a class AB amp and a class D amp, I understood why there is inherently more distortion with class D amps. That being said, I don't know what the electrical engineers did at Fosi but the sound produced for the price paid is nothing short of amazing! The first thing I did was hook it up to a 24 volt 5.7 amp power supply from my SMSL AD18. As compared to the shipped power supply, which is not bad, the sound really seemed to open up. The bass seems more pronounced but very taut and the trebles on the other end really opened up. Where to start... the soundstage produced by this tiny little amplifier is awesome. When hooked up to my bedroom speakers, if I lay in bed and close my eyes its very hard to tell where the speakers actually are. The details and clarity are wonderful, I heard things in some songs that I never noticed before. Also equally impressive is the channel separation. I'm not sure if its because I am used to streaming through units with their own built in bluetooth so I am asking an amp to perform two function and do them both well. The current setup is a BluDento connected by RCA cables. This unit is supposed to produce quality sound when connected by a coaxial cable or toslink optical cable but the best sound is supposed supposed to be produced when connected by the stereo analog outputs. All I can say is that there appears to be no crosstalk between channels and the sound produced is engaging and immersive. Its solid and clean from top to bottom. This is just my 2 cents and your mileage may vary but from where I stand, this is one solid little audio amplifier. No bells no whistles it just does one thing and I think it does it very well.

This is a good little amp for the money. Works fine, the supplied power supply is only rated for 89 watt output so I figure its only putting out 40 watts per channel not 50. However However all the other amps at this price have about the same power supply. It has plenty of gain, I got full power out driven by my mini PC, TV, Tecsun radio, pixel 6a phone through the usb c to rca adapter and an old Samsung tablet. There was no hiss listening right at the speaker with the gain full. I looks fine and seems to be built well. The speaker connectors are ok a little small but perfectly usable. This amp is very small with an aluminum body. I would recommend it to a friend looking for a small cheap amp.

It’s a nice package, with good clear sound if you have the right speakers, and very attractively packaged. However, you can get similar units very cheaply on ebay without power supplies; and since this power supply is a standard laptop unit which doesn’t quite fit with the amp [see update below], as in “a quarter inch of power adapter still sticking out,” the package isn’t as attractive as it could be. I had assumed the power supply would be carefully matched physically as well as electrically. UPDATE: While I did buy this unit from Fosi Audio after the power supply was changed to one that fits properly, the company did issue a $13 refund for the cost of the power supply itself, which means I can presumably find one that fits properly for it. It was a bit disturbing that after they claimed to have new power supplies they still were sending out the old ones, but mistakes can happen anywhere, and I appreciate the partial refund. (A replacement power supply would have been nicer.) The sparking commented on by others occurs on competitors’ units too, such as the QS Pro (I have one of those, which costs more, for a room with a powered woofer). Basically, you have to plug the adapter into the unit first, then plug the adapter into AC power. That just seems to be the way these devices all work. Also, you should really use these with banana plugs, which are very cheap to buy — the plastic ones are best since the speaker outputs are close together (the pretty brass ones will likely touch each other and short out). Fosi seems fairly responsive and that's a plus.

Compré este amplificador en 2020 y llevo ya 6 años consecutivos usándolo como mi equipo principal. El conector de la fuente incluida no se inserta del todo, dejando al descubierto parte de ella. Alimentando el amplificador con la fuente de poder que viene incluida tengo potencia más que suficiente para dos bocinas de tres vías con woofer de 220mm a 6ohm. No hay ruido de estática cuando no estás reproduciendo ni ruido de pop cuando lo enciendes. El único problema es que la perilla de volumen no está marcada con algo que te permita saber a qué volumen reproduces, mete ruido cuando la mueves y que a volumenes altos –con la perilla pasando las 12 o la 1– puede meter distorsiones. También hay que decir que el amplificador no se calienta a pesar de que lo he llegado a usar al 70% de volumen durante 6 horas consecutivas. Por el sonido no puedo decir mucho, salvo que la imagen estéreo que da es buenísima: amplia, precisa y llena de detalle.

C'est le deuxième ampli Chinois classe D que j'achète, ayant été conquis par un modèle d'une catégorie supérieure bien que ce petit Fosi Audio ne démérite pas non plus. On peut se demander à juste titre si ces nouveaux amplis Chinois ne rendent pas obsolète les amplis HIFI de classe AB traditionnels d'entrée de gamme car ce Fosi Audio offre un son excellent qui surprend vu la taille de l'appareil avec son transformateur de 19V. La course du volume est régulière, progressive et équilibrée et on restera en-deçà de 10h la plupart du temps même avec des enceintes de rendement faible. Scène sonore, pureté des timbres, clarté et dynamisme, à l'écoute ce mini-ampli ne cesse de nous surprendre par ses réelles qualités acoustiques. La finition est parfaite, pas de bruit parasite, pas de souffle, pas de ploc à l'allumage, ne chauffe pas et ce qui est le plus incroyable, sa consommation électrique ! Si on reste en-deçà de 12h, avec des enceintes de bon rendement, on aura déjà pas mal de puissance pour une consommation électrique qui va osciller entre 1.4w et 2.8w ! A plein volume on arrive péniblement à 3.5w ! En écoute normale on sera donc à 1.4w (volume à 9h), autant dire que c'est un avantage non négligeable, voire devenu très recherché ! Avec le volume à fond, on entend aucune distorsion ce qui est surprenant, cela dit sa puissance reste limitée mais à mon sens suffisante si on le branche sur des enceintes ayant un bon rendement. Par contre, il faudra privilégier des fiches bananes si on veut utiliser du câble de 2.5mm, les borniers n'acceptent du câble que jusqu'à 1.5mm apparemment (ce qui n'est pas un problème). Le boîtier étant léger, il a aussi tendance à basculer si on utilise des raccordements arrières trop qualitatifs (lourds). A mon sens ces nouveaux petits amplis Chinois en classe D rendent désuets les amplis HIFI classiques des grandes marques d'entrée de gamme (pour le moins) sauf si on recherche plusieurs entrées, des réglages de tonalité, une balance et une télécommande. Chacun pourra trouver une utilisation à ce petit Fosi, mais pour moi c'est l'ampli idéal à portée de main à côté d'un ordinateur et branché en sortie d'un DAC. Il pourra être utile aussi dans une seconde pièce mais l'absence de télécommande le rend moins intéressant pour regarder les films qui demandent souvent de corriger le volume pendant le visionnage. Je ne vois aucun défaut à ce petit ampli, le prix est attractif et son look minimaliste trouvera facilement sa place sur tout bureau ou étagère. Fortement recommandé. Vrai ampli de puissance sans souffle qui va plus fort que sa taille le laisse supposer. Boitier solide. Attention pas de réglages basses aigus. Tu peux acheter les yeux fermés

Nachdem ich schon andere Class-D Verstärker im Einsatz habe, brauchte ich ein weiteres Gerät, um meinem audiomäßig etwas schwachbrüstigem TV etwas auf die Sprünge zu helfen. JBC ControlOnes als schicke und kleine Lautsprecher hatte ich noch. Und klein, sehr klein, sollte der Verstärker sein. Dieser passt unter den TV mit Serien-Füssen. Es muß kein "supersubwoofingmaximalmegabasshighend Setup" werden, sondern nur die Im TV eingebauten (unerträglichen) Trööten mit ordentlichem Klang ersetzen. Und das für wenig Geld. Bluetooth war nicht nötig, sondern eher hinderlich wenn der Verstärker beim Einschalten immer lautstark gröhlt, welcher Eingang benutzt wird ("AahhJuuuhEcks Mode"). Das fand ich superdoof an dem bisher eingesetzten Mini-Verstärker. Dieses Gerät ist absolut still, was die Eingangswahl angeht (es gibt auch nur den einen :) ). Lediglich, wenn der Strom plötzlich kommt - also z.b. über eine Funktsteckdose im "PowerOn" Zustand am Verstärker - gibt es ein störendes "Plopp". Aber das dürfte die Lautsprecher nicht beschädigen. Schaltet man das Gerät an, nachdem der Strom "da ist", ist absolute Stille. Nur als Geizhals (oder Umwelstschützer) schalte ich natürlich die dauerhafte Versorgung des mit gelieferten Netzteil ab. Sonst finde ich nix, was ich dem Verstärker ankreiden kann. Hm. Fazit: Sieht sehr gut aus (massives Alu), kein, alles Notwendige dabei, funktioniert einwandfrei (keine Defekte) und klingt sehr gut. Und als Wichtiges: ist konkurrenzlos günstig!!!! Absolute Kaufempfehlung von mir, wenn man nicht dem absolutem HighEnd-Voodoo verfallen ist und z.B. Kabelunterschiede hört. Aber dann sollte man doch wohl mehr als unter 60€ für einen neuen Verstärker ausgeben.

Works well in my little home studio set up. In hind sight I should have bought a bigger model with more connections but hey, this one does the job for now. I recommend to spend more and get the next model up
