These fly swats are brilliant. I have caught lots of pesky flies with them. Great have different colours too as very easy to find when fly eventually settles. I even caught my very first spider on window cill. Nice length handle and sturdy made. Well pleased with purchase. Would definitely recommend

These are much better than I thought they were going to be soaked really quite pleased. Can give a good wack and they don’t disintegrate at the end.

Great! Old school flyswatters, do a better job than any of the electric ones for just basic houseflies Honestly, they don’t see them coming! A pack of five is great as we are able to have one in every room. The only downside is that after a few smashes sometimes a piece of the plastic does come off, but they are still usable and for the cost they are it’s worth it

They work great and seem sturdy enough. The wife bought some of those telescopic swatters and I thought they were useless. Nothing like the old fashion style that worked for decades. Now, new swatters at home, in the garage, and at the cottage. Would recommend.

It takes getting used to these fly swatters. They are flexible and will bend a lot while swatting. Also, the head is plastic, and it will eventually crack apart. But they are cheap, so you do get your money's worth. The get enough speed, you need to hit them while accelerating. You can't flick your wrist and expect to tap them like you're throwing a jab. It flexes too much so it won't generate enough whip action, meaning it will be too slow on impact. You need to follow through and slam them with full force. This means you need to wait until they land on something sturdy, like a counter surface. If you hit it while it lands on your fine bone China teacup, your will probably crack the cup or saucer. And if the fly lands on your wife's arm, then she's going to be really angry, especially if you miss the fly and she thinks you were aiming for her. You know what I mean. If you do want to stiffen the handle, then you can wrap it with a couple layers of duct tape. Wrap the whole handle really tight.
