Serrapeptase is an enzyme that helps break down extra protein in your body. I use it to reduce mucus in my sinus and find it very effective as a decongestant and expectorant (almost like taking sudafed with mucinex but without the chemicals or side effects). I've read that some people even take it for inflammation and swelling and to prevent blood clots, though I can't attest to those, even though I've been using it for a quite some time. Maybe if I took it more regularly. I only take it when I feel congested, but it works right away for my mucus/sinus issues, so I definitely recommend it for that. These capsules are super tiny, way smaller than my old brand, very easy to swallow, and don't have any weird taste or smell. Despite the smaller size, I find these just as effective as my previous brand. I often only take 1 capsule instead of the recommended 2 because I feel that it's usually sufficient. I usually take it in the morning with coffee on an otherwise empty stomach and haven't had any issues or discomfort. In fact, I think it's best taken on an empty stomach or between meals in order for it to work. I also like this brand's products in general. The quality always seems on point, and I like that they list their certifications and third party testing.

This is a product that must be taken consistently over time, so I have no reviews as to efficacy of cleaning out arteries. It doesn't cause vomiting as another brand did. I guess I will never know how well it works since I cannot justify paying the extra $19.70 from what it was in January. Some explanation is definitely warranted here. Is there a silkworm shortage? I would like to know how a product can go up $19.70 in less than three months when, as far as I know serrapeptase is not part of the planned scarcity like eggs, grain, ivermectin etc. Unless the evil overlords are on to how effective it is for helping save people from their depopulation agenda. I wouldn't want to think Double Wood is being flat out greedy. Help me understand. The five stars are for the seemingly great product. I am beyond unhappy with the exorbitant price increase. When one must take one's own health into her own hands, there are many more supplements to buy! It adds up to a brand new car payment every month. I'm so disappointed. Update: 3/13/23 Thank you Double Wood, for dropping this price back out of the stratosphere and down to Earth ! This is a fair price that I will happily pay next time I need to order.
