TRD Pro Style Grille Front Grill Compatible with Tacoma 2016-2021

Good quality plastic fram but it seem to leave a bit of the gap all the way around.

This grill is terrible I installed it, And on my dashbord it says " Pre- collision system malfunction take to dealership" they tried to recalibrate it and nothing. It didn't fit perfect like the factory one. I took it to the dealership and they said if its 1mm off from original from factory one it knocks everything off on the computer. Lights get water inside and never dry out. For the price should be made better. Don't even want to tell you how much it cost me at the dealership to get it recalibrated.

Looks good and easy to install, when you install buy a fuse tap from a store to make it easier

Ironically until I just replaced it I always thought the original grill on my Tacoma was plastic because of the chrome coating. It’s actually metal. I wish they’d have brushed it or done anything but chrome. It always bothered me but when I bought it I was primarily looking for a manual transmission so the bling grill was something I accepted. Had I known the grill was actually metal I may have considered painting it black but now I had already bought this replacement grill that even though now really is plastic, does look a lot better than the gaudy chrome grill. It’s not great quality but it fits and looks generally pretty good. We’ll see how long it lasts. Maybe I’ll paint the original and switch it back in the future. Note the instructions are nonsense. Don’t undo the clips and bolts circled in the instructions to remove the grill. Those are wrong. Just watch a video on YouTube. It’s not very hard to replace. If you have a metal grill like mine you’ll” need pliers for the grill clips. It’s not possible to compress them enough by hand.

So pretty 😍

The unit looks great except for the fact that all that is holding the grille in are the clips, no screws like the old OEM grille.

I replaced the chrome grill with this one. So far it works great and was an easy install. The led lights are pretty bright.

The clips on the lower left and right corners do not click into place so it would be better if you could reuse the screws taken from the OEM grill for a secure attachment. Also the wiring instructions are useless unless you are experienced in this type of installation so pictures and more descriptive language for each step in the wiring would have been helpful. ALL parts required for installation should be included, such as the Add a Fuse that we learned from other sources would be needed. Products made in China usually have sparse instructions in my experience.
