Not soo aqurat but worth for money

does exactly what's advertised ...

First of all don't mistake it to high end scopes. Measurements may be off by 5-10% and it's overrated sampling rate advertised and has small waveform storage buffer and limited trigger options and depth. But scopes that have all these cost 3x to 7x also. But good enough for waveform analysis for beginner and general purpose work up-to 20-30 MHz. Display is beautiful. Starts up quickly, No waiting. Probes are sturdy. USB Power supply is isolated which is great in certain situations to prevent ground loops e.g troubleshooting mains connected SMPS etc. You can even use 2A output USB power-banks to be doubly sure. This also gives possibility of field work where safe mains supply may not be available. The power supply is strictly 5v and is very noisy. Better use a apple power supply or power-bank when you want cleaner waveforms for triggers. Many bad reviews about display not working and signal generator failure come from people who plugged it into 12v barrel connector on their desk by mistake. Best is to hot-glue the power-cable to the scope to avoid this very common mishap. Even if it happens not everything is lost if you realize instantly and disconnect. Just replace the PT4103B LED driver IC in the rightmost metal case for display resurrection. Alternatively you can also use a boost converter board and inject 8.02v+ into Schottky diode S534. If your firmware is corrupted and scope does not boot you can get a workable firmware from sites like EEVblog and custom write it (not just copy) on to new SD card of exact same capacity (higher capacity may never work). If paranoid you can save a disk image of original SD card as its encrypted. You probably never ever need to come this far if you use it with due care for basic tasks. I put it up because few people get stuck. Also don't get frustrated by many sponsored reviews saying this scope is totally useless and sell it in scrap!! Happy scoping :D

Just purchased and is performing satisfactory. Worried about just 15-days warrantly. If product fails after that then what?

For the money, I don't think you can beat this scope. It lacks a few of the more advanced features that you would find on an expensive scope, and the bandwidth is a bit limited, but for regular bench work on electronics, robotics and audio equipment is way more than capable. It's fairly easy to use as well. It would be great if the signal generator had a bit more oomph, but it works fine for most simple applications and testing. If it's your first scope, or you are an advanced hobbyist, you really can't beat this. The build quality is good. It doesn't look or feel like Chinese junk. I think that Fnirsi is really stepping up their quality and putting out some great entry and mid-level products.

Shipping was prompt and the package arrived as scheduled. The packaging was impeccable. This little oscilloscope could have survived about any incident I can imagine it having to possibly go through during shipping. I was very pleased with how compact and lightweight it is. It's been about thirty years since I've used an o'scope and from memory they used to be horrendously bulky and heavy beasts. For my purposes, in my little amplifier and guitar repair operation, this gem is exactly the right dimensions and weight. My initial read through of the manual was only a little bit confusing but after sitting down and going through the operation section step by step to familiarize myself with it's buttons and knobs and their functions I found it quite easy to operate and with numerous features (such as an included 100X probe for high voltage work) that are admirable. Calibrating the 1X/10X probes was a breeze with the little calibration tool (flat top screwdriver) supplied. And it sits atop the shelf above my workbench in perfect viewing position right next to my multimeter and soldering station making it highly accessable which is a huge plus for me. So far the only negative attribute is that the output potential of the signal generator isn't adjustable from it's rated 2V pp. For use in guitar amplifiers I need a much lesser input in mV. So I will probably have to add a stand alone signal generator to my list of equipment. But I was aware of this feature when I bought it so I won't detract from my rating for it. For other purposes not requiring a smaller input potential this built in signal generator will work well. I haven't had the opportunity to try it out in actual signal tracing yet as I'm waiting for load ballast resistors to arrive but I have no compulsions to think it will do anything but serve me well at this point. So up to this point I am quite pleased with this item all around excepting where noted above. The price is definitely a value for everything this little unit can do.

User interface is intuitive and display is clear. Tested up to 30mhz and all seemed reasonably accurate.
