The sellers of this Rubik's cube advertise it as being "buttery smooth" in their listing, and I couldn't agree more. It comes in a standard size for a 3x3x3 cube, and the pieces beg to be moved around with one hand. There's also a helpful instruction sheet (in English and Chinese) that explains common cube solving methods. Overall, this cube is a good instrument for speed cubers. The cube also comes with a serial number and PIN to access some free training using the "Cube Station" mobile app, also released by the same manufacturer. However, after downloading and installing the 400 MB app and creating a login account, I couldn't find where I should enter the provided codes. The app is actually built to support an existing social network/community of speed cubers, with timed competitions and leaderboards. Additionally, it expects to work with a Bluetooth-enabled "smart cube", not the classic manual cube I have. Finally, it looks like you can access the basic training videos directly, without using any serial codes, yet the videos were all in Chinese. Ultimately I just deleted the app; it wasn't my main reason for ordering the cube anyway. Highly recommended for those looking for a good quality cube (just don't expect to use the included app).

Looked good but came in loose two days later exploded while doing simple turn couldn’t fix too complicated

The package includes the GAN 356 RS 3x3 cube, and a tutorial manual. This cube is not magnetic and could be the best non-magnet cube. It has smooth turns and excellent corner cutting. The cube is very loose; per the manual, you need to buy a set of GES to change the tension. The GES comes with the cube is yellow, which is in the middle of the spectrum (from 3 to 7.5). Overall, it is a great cube, and I highly recommend it.

This Rubik's Cube from Gancube is really well made. It slides so smoothly compared to my old one that I never solved and neglected. After scrambling it, I spent hours on trying to solve this myself but it was a fruitless exercise. The cube comes with a pamphlet for algorithms to solve the cube but it's small and cryptic. Then I stumbled on the best video tutorial I've ever seen by a channel called EasiestSolve and I actually managed to beat it. Initially took me like hours. Now I can get it down to 30 minutes (if I don't mess up the counter, clock, flip combos). Anyway, this cube also has an app on the Play store called CubeStation but it's pointless with this particular cube since it's not battery powered and cannot sync with the app via bluetooth. I initially hoped that it would give me the solution to solving the puzzle but it was impossible to pair with the cube. Also, the app requires email/user registration without any option for a guest mode. That said, ignoring the app, this is an affordable toy that can provide endless enjoyment. It doesn't really get old and it's a good pastime on the subway. 5/5

Looks good, feels good in my hands, but at $20.70 it may be a little bit pricey for what seems to be a plain, basic cube.
