Tastes the same! Great for congee or other Asian recipes

Incredible value for money
Great value for money! I do prefer whole basmati, however. The broken ones get a bit mushy and are more sensitive to over boiling. Suggest rinsing and soaking for 10-20mins before cooking to remove the starch and give it more bite.

Not basmati in its true sense, very small or broken rice size. Poor texture

Quality of rice is good but not packaging
The product is fine, the there was problem with packaging where the pack was open when arrived and rice was falling all over the place - see attached pictures.

Nice smell and taste.
This Laila broken basmati rice is great tasting and smells nice. As it is broken rice, the grain length is quite short. The texture is soft providing a nice eating experience. At 11p per kilo (at the time of writing this) it is great value for money and is a must buy. Great product and would recommend.
