It doesn't come with instructions on how to use it to improve my load times for Diablo 2 Resurrected which before this were absolutely horrendous to the point I could hardly play the game properly, but they went from about 30-45 sec to join or create a game to 3-4 seconds. I figured out how to use it for my purpose very easily. I just uninstall the game from my Xbox One and then redownload it selecting the ADATA SSD as the download location instead of my Xbox. I've downloaded 1 or 2 other games on it and I don't intend to even come close to taking up the whole TB. I bought this solely to improve my D2R load times and not it works like a dream. Super easy to use really no instructions needed, but if you're not confident there are plenty of tutorials online you can find with a simple Google search. Oh and the size was very surprising I expected it to be much bigger but this thing is super compact, very small which was a pleasant surprise. Hope this helps those trying to decide whether to buy it or not. It's simply exactly as advertised if not even better, performs perfectly.

I purchased this because i wanted something small and unobtrusive to connect to the mini PC that is connected to my TV. I can store all my photos and videos on this and it doesn't require an additional power supply. I got the 1TB size because the price was good and I wanted to test the quality of this type of item before spending more on a larger size. I began the transfer of my files and was immediately impressed with how fast the transfer speeds were. First, I transferred some digital movies from another, smaller thumb drive to my computer, then transferred them from the computer to this drive. The transfer speed from the computer to the SSD was literally three times faster than from the thumb drive to the computer. Next, I transferred files directly from the thumb drive to the SSD, and the speed was significantly slower. I had gotten used to the speed of transferring from the PC to the thumb drive, so I was especially impressed at the transfer speed from the PC to the SSD. Streaming movies from the SSD has presented no issues at all. I don't need more than 1TB at the moment, but if that changes, I will look at ADATA first.

Works great as it is super fast as advertised. 1 star was dropped due to the box having been previously opened and one being cable loose without any plastic packaging like the 2nd included cable. So it was probably test driven or used for a bit. Also, I noticed the USB-C to C cable was only rated to 3.1 and not 3.2 as another reviewer commented. Had to see that for myself to believe but was prepared and had ordered a 3.2 Gen 2x2 cable since I was more concerned in getting a good SSD and not with the super short cable that came with it.

This thing screams! Especially when connected to a 20gbps port!

VERY FAST! No misrepresentation of speed on this listing. It blazes. I cleared 180GB of videos and images off my overloaded Mac in no time. Now, when I access the material for editing it loads like it is already on my Mac. Fantastic value for the $ when you consider the speed alone. Looks to be extremely well built and durable. Small enough to go anywhere. Just don’t lose it! Easy to use with nothing to do but connect and go. Highly recommend!

I used this with my Macbook Pro M4. It worked for a little over a year, then stopped working during a back-up. Would not mount after that. Would show up in Disk Utility, but would not format. I tired to contact Adata for warranty support, but the warranty site did not work. What good is a 5 year warranty if you can’t access it? While it was a good value for the price I paid, And was extremely fast, it did not last, and there is no real support available. I wouldn’t buy Adata products again. UPDATE - Was able to process warranty, Adata did provide a new unit, but only after 3 weeks and having to ship the old unit back. I wound up buying a new drive for backup duties. But shouldn’t have crapped out in such a short time.

I am a pro photographer and I have two of these that I use to edit from. One that I leave in my Mac desktop all the time, and one for my laptop. HIGHLY recommend. Very fast, and after almost 3 years with the first one, I'm not sure why I would buy something else.

Not sure why the cover came loose after I try to removed the cable. I cannot think of any reason why the manufacturer will make this cover removable. I am slanted to be more of defective product

Got SSD for backup storage and gaming. Compact; it disappear in my hand folded. Easy peazy, worked straight out the box. So far no major issues. This device has blazing speed which does bring up the warmth a bit; but that's manageable. Only issue I have is the ~ 1TB is too small; should have gotten the ~2TB.

Más pequeño y práctico que SSDs similares, cumple bien su cometido grabando desde un iPhone 15 Pro Max a 4K Apple ProRes Log 60 fps. Cabe en cualquier sitio y no pesa nada, no se calienta en exceso ni da mayor problema. El LED ayuda a saber que la conexión va como debe.
