Work recommend for anyone with the stomach to remove their own stitches.
Nice and sharp, had zero issues cutting and removing stitches. The hook made it very easy to get under each stitch. Word of caution, the hook is sharp as well and can easily hook skin. Work slowing, cautiously, and diligently and you will have no problems. I could also see these as being useful for some sewing jobs.

Great tip design allows easy grasp of stich
These worked very well to remove stitches from my cat's neck where he had a little benign bump removed. My cat goes through great anxiety even with sedation going to the vet. This saved him and me from going to the vet to have the stitches removed. My vet said if I could remove them myself given his calm temperament at home. I ordered these and they arrived the next morning. The design of the tip maked easy to get under the stitch and cut it.u cat didn't even flinch. He slept through the process. I recommend these for the unique tip design its sharpness and price. I sanitized them in hydrogen peroxide first.

These were perfect for removing a couple of drain stitches! Super sharp and the hook is critical.

Good Quality
I didn't want to go back to the physician's assistant just to get my stitches taken out so I ordered this and I just lifted said stitches up a bit while hubby clipped them and they popped right out.

Suture scissors that you need!
Perfect scissors for suture removal, got mine out without any issue. Love the aesthetic on these, the gold and silver is a nice touch. I use these now in my bathroom for cutting other things and they work great every time. Highly recommend.

Great for at-home use
This work great! I didn’t think going back to urgent care and paying another copay for stitch removal was necessary. The curved tip allows to get under the stitch very easily, and just a light snip after that does the trick. I’m a nurse, but I think these are easy enough for just about anyone to use.
