I bought this junior sized discbound journal on a whim when I was purchasing the 8.5x11 size. I thought I could take it to my many meetings and seminars. This little journal has been more useful than the letter sized one! It is very portable and I just throw it on my bag. It lives in my bag and I always have my notes accessible. I am using the dividers to keep myself organized and keep all my notes in one place. If you are part of different groups with monthly or quarterly meetings, this is great for you. It was a great purchase. The sticky labels for the dividers are pretty bad and they peel off. They do not have enough glue. I am going to need to get others for that. The cover is very sturdy and durable. I love the texture and the rose color. I wish it had a strap but I can always add that.

I purchased the 8x5 notebook to use for recipes. The cover is sturdy and nice looking and I love that I can rearrange the pages. The dividers being a see through smokey black is a nice touch. I am giving it 4 stars because the tab stickers do not stick well. I’ve had this notebook for only a few months, used minimally and two of the stickers are coming off. I’d like to replace them and add more tabs but the notebook doesn’t come with extras, and extra tabs and stickers are only available in the bigger legal size.

I like disc bound notebooks a lot. These have pretty decent covers, though a bit plasticky. The paper works surprisingly well with fountain pen ink. The paper is actually very good, very smooth, watery ink does not feather or bleed through. Most expensive name brand notebooks like Moleskine and Leuchtturm have paper that's not as good as this. HOWEVER every single page is marred with the printed legend at the top that says, "Subject - Date: Place: Member: " What does "member" even mean? Why would you want any of this on a notebook? Also the ruled lines are too far apart for me. I have actually been buying and inserting TUL disc paper in this size because it's similar quality but closer ruling and has just a box at the top of the page. I don't really like the box either, but it's better than this stuff.

This is a good starter set for disc bound notebooks. It is half-letter sized (close to A5 for those familiar with those standards) and contains everything for most uses- tabs The paper is excellent, thick and smooth, and shows no ghosting for any of the pens I have used- fountain pen, gel, or even felt tip. I would have preferred college ruled, rather the wider ruling of these pages, but the page layout is useful. Sturdy covers mean I can carry the notebook with me, and always be able to write in it, even if I don't have a flat surface handy.

I got the 2 pack, they both had their own styrofoam envelope so they are in perfect shape, though they seem quite sturdy and I’m confident will hold up with my needs. Color of the rose gold is nice and it’s got a texture on the front of both that will provide some grip. The edges of both could have been “cleaner” as in briefly sanded so the spare bits of plastic weren’t falling off, but I was able to scratch them gently with my nail and get it off easily. Both came with a spare circle binder in case one is lost, but when I looked for accessories I could get a variety of colors for future use if needed. Speaking of accessories there were quite a few types of pages you can purchase to go inside as well as different color pages or tabs, which will be nice for future customization. I’m excited for these to be refillable so I can continue to use pages I need and remove/replace whatever I don’t. I think a few more pages could be added if needed but it’s almost at capacity for pages as is and I don’t think you could just add more without removing some of the existing pages. It does indeed lie flat easily, and unlike spiral notebooks the binding cannot bend so the pages don’t get stuck like they do on traditional spiral notebooks. Paper looks to be a good thickness but I haven’t written on them yet.
