Convenient Single Servings
I wanted a convenient way to manage portions and add some flair to my salads without using larger bottles. These individual sachets of extra virgin olive oil from Portugal seemed like a perfect fit. They're small enough to take wherever I go, fitting effortlessly into my bag whenever I'm headed for a picnic or work lunch. Having it in single doses means I can always have fresh oil without having to worry about spoilage or leaving an oily mess in my kitchen. It's been nice not needing to guess how much to pour while juggling other ingredients. The sachets provide just the right amount for my needs. On the downside, I did notice the plastic packaging. Each sachet is wrapped in a layer of plastic, which could be better if there were a more environmentally friendly option. Pros: - Perfect portion size - Easy to travel with - Keeps oil fresh Cons: - Plastic packaging waste

Great for backpacking
Perfect for our backpacking trip. We trekked through Patagonia in Chile for 5 days and we had to bring our own meals. The additional calories that these packets provided were of great help, plus the added taste of olive oil made some bland food taste better. Some may not like the taste but it’s all subjective I suppose.

Portion Controlled Size Extra Virgin Olive Oil Packets Are Easy To Take With You On The Go
Dona Maria Extra Virgin Olive Oil Individual Sachets 10 Packet is an incredibly convenient way to take portion controlled extra virgin olive oil on the go. Each easy to tear open packet holds 7ml of a light gold colored oil. Unlike the extra virgin olive oils that I usually use, this olive oil has an incredibly faint aroma with distinct grassy scent notes. The oil has a light, pleasant flavor. It was tasty when I dipped fresh bread into it and as a foundation for a light vinaigrette. It is a good size to encourage portion control. The oil packets are ideal to take with you on the go whether it is on a picnic, camping, or backpacking. They would also be useful to include in an earthquake preparation kit if the use by date were longer. Cost wise it is on the higher side when compared against a small bottle of olive oil. Essentially the premium price is based on the convenience of the individual packets of olive oil. The product that I received has a best by date of 2 months from the date that I received it. I would have preferred a longer shelf life as opposed to having to rush to use the product. Interestingly, the manufacturer did not specify where the olive oil originates from. The packages that I received were marked UE- which I'm guessing should state EU. Regardless, I would have preferred knowing the specific country. Overall, it's a fine product that is incredibly convenient but when considering the light flavor, limited use by date, and the overall cost, I simply do not see myself adding this again to my Amazon cart.

Perfect for traveling or when you cook at a friend's house!
I was offered 10 packets of these. I picked them because I cook with olive oil several times a week. I love to make garlic spaghetti. I use light olive oil and sauté a lot of fresh minced garlic. I then add crushed red pepper flakes and add to the noodles then sprinkle a little fresh parmesan. Does not take long and it so good to eat! I love to cook it myself and have a lot of olive oil in my house. I was interested in trying this brand for many reasons. One, wanted to taste it. I love it! It is light and like what I am used to, and I learned to cook in Italy. I wanted to get these sizes for when I travel by car and on a trip and can cook, this size is perfect! I am also known for cooking for other people and the sizes of these are perfect if my mother who doesn’t cook anymore wants me to cook my pasta, I grab one of these and a few garlic bulbs and go over to her house. It not only tastes good, but the convenience for me is worth it! Olive oil bottles can get messy if you spill one that is open or has a spout on it which mine do. Try that in a car! LOL Sure they expire in April of this year, but they will be gone by the end of the week. If you need convenience and are traveling or heading to a family members house, I highly recommend these!

Convenient with good flavor but plan to use them soon.
This seems like great olive oil, I used some last night while cooking my dinner and it had good flavor. There is about a tablespoon of oil in each little packet. They remind me of the size of a fast food ketchup packet. This makes them super portable and easy to bring with you when picnicking or camping. I have to trust that the ingredients are pure and there are no additives because the only writing on the packaging is in Portuguese or Spanish. One thing that I am not too fond of though is the shelf life on these. The expiration date printed on the outer container and the packets is in two months, April 2025. So I guess if you are not going to be using these a lot you may want to order closer to the time you plan on using them to get the freshest ones available.
