Same old wine in new bottles !!
This book itself is fine. But one book from Alan is good enough... There's no point in investing in his other books when you have atleast one book of his on the topic of consulting because almost 80-90% of the content is blatantly repeated. Absolutely no point in buying value based consulting, million dollar referrals or million dollar launch or any other consulting books if you have atleast one book of his. It all old wine in new bottle.

I read the first edition back in the 1990's when I started business consulting. The advice here helped me to grow a a consultant. The information is invaluable.

Is it worth it? Sure, why not.
The author claims, without proof, that 'Million Dollar Consulting' is the second most powerful brand in solo consulting. So, guided by his example, I'm making this the 3rd most useful review in the history of Amazon! If you can get past the author's inflated ego, you'll find some good insights. And no, you won't make a million bucks from reading the book unless you buy the $16,000 "Million Dollar Consulting College" training. Is it worth it? Sure, why not.
