This device solved every problem i had!!
This is perfect for a bedroom guitarist! I live stream/record/make guitar videos and this product solved every past issue ive had trying to make content. The aux in is a life saver for recording one take live guitar videos directly with your pc capture card. The sound quality is so crisp, and the back track sounds full and clear. There is a little noise with the condenser mic but honestley its not that noticable. 6/5 stars no joke!

Works Perfectly
Great mixer for live streaming. Gives better control for sound quality than coming directly out of a mixing board.

Will not work well for some setups
My setup is very specific using pc for accompanying music through otg. The music sounds pristine I wanted a 24 bit interface. The problem comes in when I have my iPhone hooked in aux using loopback for live streaming and recording. Singing tried several different mics. Same problem with clipping in recordings no matter the levels or even using the compression which just seemed to lower the input volume without helping the clipping. The reverb is nice but only one setting in the hardware. It would be nice to be able to adjust this setting on board. I did not use any of the software that came with want hardware that just works the way it is. I’m sure this is ideal for other types of setups but this one is maybe not as common. Hopefully this helps others who are trying for a similar setup.

Funciona excelentemente y es un producto de excelente calidad. Recomendado 100%. Principalmente lo uso como interfaz de audio para grabar en mi IPad Pro y es excelente.

loopback button is the biggest selling point.
Loopback button is really convenient so you dont have to mess with software, just dial in the volumes, push the button, and your mic and pc audio stream perfectly. Returning to just mic, click the button, done. Nice mute button, and has a decent reverb effect. It's pretty quiet, but compared to other interfaces its just tad bit noisier but its not too big of an issue if you dial it in correctly. The software was too much trouble to deal with so I just uninstalled and dont bother with the eq as it gets too noisy and the software keeps trying to take over and make things sound bad by remembering settings and such. They seem to not even have the correct software as I think it was designed for the mk1. All in all its a super convenient mixer that i switched to and prefer over audient evo 8 and focusrite 2i2 for the simple fact that I use loopback a lot and only require the one input and sound quality remained pretty decent comparibly. I love it and it made my life a lot easier when streaming. I would prefer other interfaces if you're into music production however as the drivers aren't great and I get a bit more sound quality and lower noise from other devices, but it would probably be sufficient in some respects.

Great mixer but two issues were a deal breaker
I really wanted this to work, it has built-in compression and eq, which solves having to run this in software. While the XLR input worked great, the headset input seemed to suffer from a ground loop issue, touching the mixer or the laptop reduced it, but then when ever I typed it would get noticeably quieter then louder when I moved my hands off the laptop. While the mixer works with Linux the effects didn't seem to work (to be fair it does state either Mac or Windows, but I do have other devices which work fine on Linux, you could hear the effects when monitoring but they were not in the recording/call, tried flipping the switch from dry to mixer) which negated having them on board. The effects did work fine with my Mac though, apart from the ground loop issue. I returned, which is a pity as I liked the form factor but having buzz in your calls and recordings wasn't acceptable.

Fun stuff
My setup is a Shure SM7B, cloudlifter, 286s and the AG03. I only have this clunky setup because I have my circumstances of reducing family chatter, white noise and accommodating for my soft spoken voice with occasional eardrum bursting loud yells. I feel the AG03 does best with any microphone to be honest, especially if you have a good environment, free of noises. Do your research though, any equipment is not a one size fits all, so make sure what you buy fits your environment. Despite me telling you this, AG03 is probably one of the most stable audio interfaces around. One of the nicer features to the AG03 is the loopback system, where essentially, you can karaoke on discord. You can also have a comp/eq, reverb, and mute. If you play the guitar or piano, you can input that as well. It pretty much has all the basic needs of a audio interface, with a little extra in comparison to other competitors. If you ever have plans on using two mics required 3-pin inputs, just get the AG06 but if not, you're a loner like me, AG03 suffices. Yamaha made an upgrade so the connections are both USB-C cables now, which is nice. (I originally had an old AG06, with it using different cables so this upgrade was nice)

GREAT value and a perfect blend of old school and modern features
I looked long and hard for a mixer to do a very, very, very basic duty: Mix a live microphone signal with a line-level recorded audio source, and send the mixed line-level signal to a power amplifier. I also require 48 volt phantom power for a Shure SM58 micriphone. The Yamaha AG03MK2 does all this perfectly, AND it adds the capability to work as a USB-connected audio interface if needed, although a USB connection is NOT required This is a great blend of classic old-school analog functionality that can step into the future. My ONLY complaint about this is that it requires a USB-C power supply input; I wish it could plug into a regular 120 VDC outlet. However for the price, $139 in early 2025, I don't have any concerns. This thing is a fantastic value and I would EASILY buy it again. Thank you Yamaha!

No me gusto. La app para actualizarlo es insufrible. Mackie es mucho mejor opción .

Just got the Yamaha AG03MK2 in black and it’s quickly become the hub of my laptop‑based audio setup. It sits clean on the desk, connected via USB‑C, and handles my mic and system audio without missing a beat. Minor quirks: One mic preamp only — if you’re recording multi‑mic setups, this isn’t ideal. Effects sound decent but basic — fine for streaming talk, not studio‑grade layering. Users on reddit say you won't notice big differences in preamp quality compared to other budget interfaces, but Yamaha holds up well. No physical EQ knobs — effects controlled via buttons only, deeper dialing requires AG Controller software. But the app works reliably. Final verdict: If you’re doing laptop streaming, podcasting, or small‑scale content creation, the AG03MK2 is basically a Swiss Army knife: compact, powerful, and intuitive. It’s not overbuilt or overly complex — just good, reliable gear. The black finish looks professional and discreet, too. Would I recommend it? Yes. For under CAD 300 (roughly US $190), you get a mixer, interface, DSP effects, loopback routing, and full phantom power in one sleek package.
