Review: Surprisingly effective fit! - Got these because I'm sick of fixing flats, and now im on much more thorn ridden paths. I used to have the solid tubeless inserts (the kind you put inside another tire). I used a pair of those on a mountain bike for at least about 2 years. They say tubeless systems are bad for your rims. I never had any significant problems. Really not concerned for my mostly commuter bike rims anyways. However I think these honeycomb full solid tire and tubeless systems are going to be much better, than the tubeless inserts! I bought these to test on my 20" BMX/commuter bike. I was thinking it would be drastically difficult to install these on my BMX rims because they are tall double wall rims. I was also unsure if the middle insert setting (that goes into the rim) would fill the width of my rim. I soaked these in hot water than pulled them in steps held with some tire levers and then kind of just stretched it with one hand pretty much until it started clicking in! I was very surprised it was less difficult than I expected, although I was expecting it to be very difficult. The tire is also very firm and seems to fill the width of the rim, so it's a nice solid fit! Seems a much better fit than I had with the tubeless inserts, so I expect these to last longer and be better for my rims. To the review that shows the tire isn't the same size of their normal tires, they are supposed to be like that. They initially look alot smaller than my 20" wheel, but you stretch them on. I'm very pleased! I think I may even be able to do some (cautious) BMX stunts with these! Edit after 3 months: Everything is going well still solid straight rims. But because the tires are so tight and solid, they make for a very hard ride, feels like rock solid tires, and they slide easier on slick surfaces if turning fast. They don't do great in sandy dirt either, they need some large knobbies on them for grip or something. Edit after another 6 months or so: I just blew my mind a little. I just got a fat tire e-bike. Knew the tires would go flat. The rims are 20" X 4". I had these 20" X 1.95" tubeless tires on my BMX. I took them off and I put them one by one into the fat tire rims. They squeezed together, almost too big but pushed them together. I think these will be no flats forever on my fat tire e-bike. Awesome! Review: Caution - We bought these for our 10 year olds 20โ bike. They came folded in half and zip tied and this caused the tire to be misshapen. We tried to soak in hot hot water for 20+ min and this did not help reshape. They were extremely difficult to get on the rim, it took two people. They do not fit in the rim width wise either. There were no other choices for 20โ tube. We spent $80+ on these tubes and will now have to either get new ones, or buy a whole new bike. Definitely not worth the money! Buyer beware.

Absolutely will not fit a 20X1.5 rim
The bead width is totally too wide to fit the rim and the diameter of the tire is too small. This was an unfortunate purchase that is being promptly returned. This tire is extremely difficult to work with and would have been a challenge had it actually fit.

Outstanding Product
Despite the low review marks, I decided to try this product. I must say it is Outstanding! People that say this does not fit have either not measured their rims properly or they do not understand what it takes to put these on. They are difficult but worth the effort if you need something that will not go flat. I needed this product for my wife's pony cart that requires 20" tires. Measuring the rims, they are 420mm (~16.5") diameter and the inside measurement of the rim lip is 25mm (~1") wide. The tires arrived in a large box. They were not zip tied or mis formed as others have commented. Holding them up to the rims, they look impossibly small. You need to warm up the rubber before installing. Others have used hot water. I did not have a vessel big enough so I warmed my oven up to 175 degrees, turned it off and let the tire sit in the oven for 30 minutes before installing. I found that you need three large clamps, a heat gun and tire levers to get these on. Two people are a must for this process. I started with clamping a section of the tire into the rim for about 6" of tire then putting this section in a vise to hold the rim and tire vertically to aid with the rest of the install. From there you leave one clamp in place at one end and leap frog two clams at the other end about one inch at a time. As the tire cools, use the heat gun to keep the rubber soft in the section you are working. It helps to have one person working the tire levers to get the section into the bead channel while the other person works the clamps. This process took about 45 minutes for the first tire and about 30 minutes for the second tire. Well worth the effort as they are a perfect fit and should last for many years of use.

They look too small, and are extremely hard to stretch over the wheel.
Ok, I'm only writing this review because some people complained that these were wobbly or did not fit straight, one guy posted a video and you can see the wobble. Here's the thing, they didn't get the tire all the way on. They are a pain to get on in the first place, and when you do get them over the wheel they don't sit in the grooves without being pushed in. I used a screwdriver and pushed in around the holes on the side, they're solid rubber, you won't hurt them. It takes some work but they do fit, and when they do you don't ever have to worry about them again. You can run over a box of tacks, they are not going flat. I would have liked to find them a little cheaper but I paid what seems to be the going price for these, if they were easier to put on I'd probably give it 5 stars and be happier with the price, but all in all I'd say they are worth it.

It is a tire
Does not fit the rim as advertised. Definitely a waste of money. It would be cheaper just to buy a new rim and tire together.

Best tires
They are easy to install. The directions day hot water but I used my powder coating oven on 160ยฐ for 8 minutes and they were soft enough to put on the wheel without much work.

Too large for my 20" rims and ad misleading.
Ad was misleading implying that it would fit all 20" rims but obviously not mine then I lost it on the way home. I had waited to take it to the bike shop for installation as my ebike rear wheel is difficult to remove with the motor in the hub. I had waited too long to install to be able to return anyway.
