Arrived on time and is exactly as advertised. We have been questioning the accuracy of the oven's thermometer, and this is an easy way to confirm what the exact temperature is. It's easy to use as it can hang or stand on the racks. I'll use it with my BBQ and smoker as well.

Easy to read

Bought it to calibrate the oven. At first, the reading seemed odd in relation to the oven temperature selected. Calibrated the oven by 30 degrees. With the oven at 500 degrees, it would only register 350. The oven is not that much off the mark. Thermometer did not measure accurately. Tested it against 2 other fixed thermometers. Inaccurate by 125 to 150 degrees. Missed the window to return the item.

It was a real life saver when I suspected my oven wasn’t reaching the temperature it should.

Bought this to check a new oven in a stove because I felt the oven might be 5-15 degrees low. Not that french fries or other items didn't cook just as fast but with some baking the difference in the crust browning on the bottom and how well cooked it is in the middle would denote a slightly low temperature, so I wanted to check. I set the oven to 425 and once the oven said it was at that temperature for 15 minutes I checked this thermometer that was in the middle of the oven: it read 375*F. So I basically rented a HVAC Fluke 51-2 thermometer to check the oven again: the oven was set to 425*F, this thermometer read 350*F, and the expensive Fluke meter read 415*F. I took a photo of the thermometer in the oven and as fast as I could a photo out of the oven next to the stove read out. My opinion is these thermometers are cheap and are too cheap to be accurate every time (if you get an accurate on or not is random). The sensing coil is exposed in a hole in the back but there isn't a slot to 'calibrate' this thermometer because it is so cheap.
