EDIT: Added a star because the seller reached out to me & sent me a free replacement.I got this because I’m an artist doing digital art on an ipad, and art files can take up a LOT of space, so I wanted to store them on an SD card. I liked it because most lightning to SD card card readers are a cord that in my case, would dangle from the ipad while I’m working, which would damage the cord. I thought getting this would mean I wouldn’t have to worry about that but a couple weeks in I bumped it & now I’m having issues with the SD card not being seen by the ipad. It plugs in just fine but the SD card will just randomly disappear from the file directory while I’m working & I have to unplug & replug a couple times for it to appear again. And weirdly enough, I’ll have the charging cord plugged into this & it won’t stop charging even when the SD card disappears, which would make me think the problem is with the card & not the lightning end, the the SD card works fine in my computer.Also the caps are a little annoying because they look like there’s no “backwards” but if you don’t put it on the right way then the lightning cap will stick out instead of aligning with the adapter & the USB-C cap is very tight when put on the right way but doesn’t fit on at all the right way (again, the caps look like it shouldn’t matter, there’s no indication of a right or wrong way to put it on).So yeah, the thing is cheap. One little bump and now this thing is incredibly unreliable. I’d shell out the money for a better quality/sturdier one if I could find any.

It's always nice to have a memory carder reader around. This one is really nice!. It has an all in one feature with different connectors. It is made really sturdy ! It functions as mentioned. It reads big SD cards like from cameras and micro SD cards like for cell phones exc. I love the design and the size . It's very easy to take with you. Has instructions include but it's pretty simple all you really do is insert into USB drive on computer and it will read it instantly. Excellent price for this as well. Very satisfied with My card reader!

That looks like it’ll do the thing!”Now, in its defense, this SD card reader probably does work, just not for what I wanted it to do. It’s like showing up to a party with snacks and finding out you were supposed to bring ice. Helpful, yes. Just not in the way I imagined.So learn from me, fellow photo hoarders: double check what direction the files go before you get emotionally invested.
