Excellent High-Quality Cable That Is Very Difficult to Terminate
APPEARANCE Cable is Matte White color, interior wires are clearly color coded with no issue. HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS This is a low-flex cable that has a much higher bending radius than other CAT cables. DURABILITY Cable is extremely well made, exterior material seems to be PVC jacketed with a great deal of UV protection. Cable is foil-wrapped with cloth interior. This is probably the highest quality CAT cable I've ever seen in my professional career. SPECIFICATION ADHERENCE This cables adheres to all of the design specifications for CAT6A (to my knowledge), networking hardware had no issues negotiating at 1000mbit (didn't try at 10Mbit) even when wire was located near power cables or at long distances. TERMINATION DIFFICULTY All of the added features of this cable makes it extremely difficult to terminate with RJ45 Connectors (although no issue with Keystone Jacks). If you plan on terminating with RJ45 ends, I would strongly suggest buying some that are rated for CAT6a cables to accommodate this cable. During termination, I found it helpful to untwist the wires and massage the wires straight before termination. This process will take some practice and you will likely become frustrated (I did). Practice terminating on the bench before doing it in the field. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS This is a great high quality cable when you are faced with difficult drops that have lots of EMI issues, have long transmission distances, or require outdoor runs that are exposed to sunlight. I keep a roll on the truck for these situations just in case.

High quality cable. Easy to work with.
trueCABLE Cat6A Direct Burial, 500ft, Waterproof, Outdoor Rated CMX, Black, 23AWG Solid Bare Copper, 750MHz, PoE++ This is a high quality cable. It was really easy to work with and make my runs. My use was at home. My runs are all in the attic, sub-space and some outdoor - none buried. If you are looking for a supple cable, this isn't it. By design it is more rigid than other cables. That said - I had no issue making patch cables for indoor use - 2ft, 3ft , 7ft, 10ft. Not the best for making sharp 90 degree bends, but a gradual 90 wasn't an issue for me. I found attaching the connectors to be easier than indoor (lighter) cable. The rigidity of the wire helped. You will need to be sure that the connectors you have can accommodate the thicker cable. Out of maybe a dozen or so runs I made, from 10' to 100', I only had to re-do 2 connectors. In both cases it was user error (me) or connector flaw.

Good deal
Very useful and good product. I bought this cable for my home project. Initially my plan to run it outdoor but eventually I ran it inside. I noticed some complain about how hard is to trim it. We should never use rj45 connectors directly. The alternative is to use keystone jacks. And a patch cord between the device and keystone. I added a couple of pics.

Great Cat6a cable for security system.
Wiring up a PoE security camera NVR system. This cable should future proof the system for 20 to 30 years. This is a thick, shielded Cat6a cable. Twists are not individually shielded, but the entire 8 wires are shielded by one wrap of foil. Central spline of crosshatch plastic makes this kind of stiff but can bend and make corners. Terminating into Cat6a RJ45 shielded ends took some practice, but with some patience I found a good way to do this. Once you untwist the pairs, straighten each wire by itself, get the color scheme in order then straighten again, cut the little wires at a pretty good angle, then feed into the staggered end of the Rj45. It may take a few times of doing this, but eventually all 8 wires slide into the end for crimping, then slide your boot onto the end, and done! Works very well.

Great for punch downs
I use this in 99% of runs. It's almost indestructible and never had a break in hundreds of lines I've ran. I don't worry about uv exposure or water. Sure it's a pain to cut and punch down but it'll last. There's no way it'll fit in a rj45 male end though.

Good Quality.
Appears to be a very high-quality product. Definitely not the cheap stuff in a box!
