My reading pillow arrived but it looked sad, scrawny and wrinkled. Instead of waiting 48 hours for it to come to life on its own, I took it out of the pillow case, massaged and kneaded it for about 15 minutes. During which time, I also dug my fingers into the interior (with the cotton case on) to break up the clumps as much as possible. It is now all fluffed up. I stacked it on top my memory foam pillow in bed. It provides good support for my back, neck and head. I used it for a couple of hours last night sitting up to watch a movie. When I was about to fall asleep, I wanted to hurl it across the room for the night but I couldn't. The pillow weighs about six pounds and I am no she-hero. I had to lift it by the handle and set it aside in a corner of our bedroom. There are three pockets in this pillow that one can use to keep tiny items such as earphones, lip balm, eyeglass wipes, etc. Out of curiosity, I unzipped the liner to take a peep at the compressed foam pieces. Some shredded bits are so tiny, unavoidably some got out. Nothing interesting there, I won't peep again. The reading pillow is adequately filled to provide a comfortable and firm embrace. I will spend many cozy nights with it. Great value and I'm glad to support American made / assembled.

First of all, kudos to Whooloo to include among the several obligatory product pics, one with dimensions. Yes, it's that important! It gave proper measurements that really helps buying decisions. Okay let's get down to business in order: 1. Is it comfortable? 99% YES! For my body size and height this worked very well. Taller people may need to slouch down a bit. The amount of memory foam plus the design/shape of the pillow really lends itself to a proper wedge to setup for a nice reading or TV viewing position. The whole thing is encased in a velvety-feel fabric, feels good! "What is that, velvet?" you get the reference, lmao So why not 100%? That 1% is reserved for a pillow that can gently lift my body forward, fluff itself, then gently lay me back down, so obviously Whooloo has work cut out for them. 2. Does it smell? That's a big no. I mean yes it's memory foam, but the nose test says negative on chemical smell and besides, I'm putting some faith on this company saying they use BRAND NEW foam with low VOC, or something. I forget already, just go watch the product video. 3. Is it heavy? Heck no. Lifting and repositioning is easy peasy, unless you're a toddler. It's memory foam so that in itself is not light, but very manageable. The cross-stitched lift handle is sturdy too, so it helps. I'm using this mostly on the couch right now and occasionally on my bed so I do use the handle often. 4. Are the arm rest side pockets useful? I mean yea, I guess. Well, I don't use it but you can. What did they say? You can put remotes in it? Yeah that's it. 5. I got nothing, that's all. Or maybe just this... Pro Tip: So sometimes watching K-dramas C-dramas whatever on my phone laying on this thing, I'll slouch way down so then I just pivot and use either arm rests as pillows. Bam! Okay, last words... Great product, good value, super comfortable. Go buy it if you're in need of one. Okay maybe one more... Why aren't there more color choices??

As someone who has had lower back surgery, I have wanted to find something to give sufficient support and comfort to sit up and read in bed. Using several standard pillows never worked right. I finally had enough and started researching online for a solution. As you probably already have seen for yourself, the variety of sitting pillows and/or devices on the market is a bit overwhelming, and prices can run up to the $200 level, depending on construction/features. The Whooloo pillow looked similar to others but notably had the highest customer reviews. The Whooloo was also very moderately priced for what appeared to be a good-quality product. I ordered it figuring if it did not work out, I would not have invested a lot of money. It arrived promptly. After taking it out of the box and giving it sufficient time to expand, following the directions, I was very pleased to find that not only was the pillow of high quality, but it actually worked as advertised. It gives excellent back support. Moreover, the arms have enough padding to comfortably rest your elbows while holding up a book or Kindle. For the price point, this pillow not only performed as advertised but exceeded expectations. It is well worth it, and I trust your experience will be the same as mine.

I grabbed this to play games in bed more comfortably. It gives decent support to my back when propped up against a wall but it compresses easily which isn't ideal, though that is more of a property of memory foam since that is the stuffing used. It does allow you to add more stuffing so that could solve the issue but I haven't tried that. The cover material is soft and easy to clean, I would recommend you watch the cover before use if you want it to smell pleasant. Also be sure to either watch the video in their listing or take note of the measurements to get a better idea of the size as the pictures they use make it seem bigger than it is. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but would love for it to be bigger and the compression issue takes away from the experience a bit since I find myself having to readjust myself the longer I use it (again, really due to the fact that memory foam obviously compresses).

When it arrives it was in a very compact and well package box. When i took it out from the packaging I started puffing it up manually. it too maybe an hour of puffing out manually to get it ready. The cover is very plush and soft, the pillow didn't have any harsh smells like other pillows I've had. The pockets are kinda nice for a few things, I usually put my wireless earbuds in it. If there is anything I disliked about the pillow, it would be that the the foam are very fine and can be a mess if you want to take out some of it, which i do not recommend. Good thing I had no reason to take any of the foam out. So far, it's well-made, it soft and plush, it has a good amount of firmness and it came with a warranty on it, so I can rest assured that I can keep enjoying the pillow in the future,

I have seen so many options for back support pillow and then I finally decided to choose the Whooloo Reading Pillow. I bought it because I just have a newborn and I feel it is difficult to feed the baby without anything to support my back. When I received the Whooloo, initially the pillow was compressed for easier shipping and thus it was quite hard and small at the beginning. After that, for around 2 days, the pillow extended to its maximum size and really comfortable to support my back when I breastfeed the baby! Highly recommended the product!

Was getting tired of propping multiple pillows in bed to be able to read comfortably. Almost all the reading pillows I researched were not North American by origin and so I kept looking until I found the Whooloo finally a reading pillow made with material that wasn't going to off-gas me into a coma. The pillow arrived very quickly and well packaged, but something seemed wrong, there's no way a reading pillow could fit into such a small package or was there? after unpacking and reading the note I set the pillow on my bed and puffed it up a few times and by night time it was ready to go. Reading in bed is once again a pleasure.
