Bonide Rot-Stop Tomato Blossom End Rot, 32 oz Ready-to-Use Spray

This worked great and stopped the blossom end rot on my tomato plants. I also used it on zucchini and pepper plants with good results.

I am so pleased with this product! It allowed me to enjoy tomatoes by nourishing the plants producing rotten ones to stop doing that! I will warn that it is so important to not overkill applying---it mentions applying until it runs off. I think that is a little too much. It makes the plants burn from the sun easy and scaled them back a bit before they grew back. I would just apply enough to spray in each section and then stop--do not keep spraying until run off--they will burn! I have only had to apply once or twice to each plant affected this season, not every week.

This product seems to work effectively. I had several roma plants that were suffering due to torrential rain. It depleted the calcium and the end rot showed up. Although this is diluted, be very careful when applying. I applied in the evening when it was cool, I only placed on the leaves and fruit and tried not to over saturate but I still had many leaves that turned brown. The product seemed to work well though in spite of the issues because new fruit does not have end rot and the plants are all blooming nicely.

I’m an experienced gardener who has been successfully raising tomatoes for over 40 years. Generally, our climate is ideal for tomatoes. This year, I’m experiencing more than a little blossom end rot, particularly on two heirloom varieties. I looked on line and found this product was highly recommended, for end rot, even by name on Google AI. Probably should have checked who was sponsoring these sites. I purchased two bottles of the premixed spray. I followed the directions exactly and sprayed after sunset. I not only sprayed the affected plants but the rest of the vines as well. This morning all the vines are wilting and turning brown. These are five foot high plants covered in green tomatoes. Some overspray landed on several bell pepper plants and the leaves are yellowing and shriveling right before my eyes. I’m sick about this. Several gardening sites have recommended what to do to try and save my crop. First advice? Stop using this product. From this experience I do not recommend Bonide Rot-Stop. I would give no stars if I could.
