Does this support the rs232 control lines?

+Our software does not use the RTS/CTS/etc functions so I don't know. Since it does have status indicators (something we look for so you can be sure it is being talked to) which include DTR, DCD, RI, CTS, RTS & DSR I would presume it does.

will this work for gerber plotters? i have a gerber gs15 it came with a 25 pin db to 9 pin serial rs232 cable, as my laptop only has usb ports.
