I had a hard time trying to get the JSM Cushion Foundation to stay under because it would be patchy but this seems to have fixed my issue! It dries down nicely and doesn't feel drying or overly slippery. There is a light floral scent to it.

Keeps my skin hydrated and makes my face glow

This comes in a little glass pump bottle that allows a precise amount to be used. Being a pump, I believe it helps to prevent contamination of the product. The first thing noticed when applying it is the pleasant light floral scent. It’s described as a cream but is more of a liquid that goes on light and effortlessly. It doesn’t take much and leaves the skin feeling smooth, not oily or weighted down. Summer is rough weather for this type of product with the heat and sun but it does a good job standing up to the elements. I would say this is good for combination skin of dry in places and oily in others. It does absorb into the skin, not extremely rapidly, though. I don’t see that it mentions anything about an SP rating so I assume it doesn’t have any but really, the focus is it being on a moisturizing product and not sun screen. This does contain ceramide which is known to help prevent dry skin, irritated skin and redness. I haven’t found this product to go on and an hour later feel the skin has overcompensated to look oily which is a problem I find with some products and my skin type. On the whole, I like the effects of it.

I tried this first and then the original and I have to say this one is a lot better, especially if you have oily, dehydrated skin. I like how the light version gave my skin a healthy glow even after +8 hours and my skin didn’t feel tight. The formula is as the name suggests, it’s light and absorbs quickly, but provides adequate hydration. The fragrance is light and floral unlike the original one, which was so strong that it took a while to dissipate and I felt like that one broke me out a lot

Comedogenic for me. Had 3 new pimples show up after using for 10-12 hours. At about 6 hours or so, makeup started flaking. The foundation as well the concealer I used to cover up some acne spots was disappearing and the redness started to show through. Will try it again but if results are the same, will likely return. Tried three times, 2 new pimples developed each time. Makeup continues to slip off each time I tried it. Not for people with acne prone or oily skin. Even though I did order the formulation for oily skin, it doesn’t work well.

I got the one for oily skin because it seems like the lighter version of the two. I don't have oily skin but wanted a moisturizer that isn't too rich or heavy especially now that we are in the summer season. This has a light pleasant fragrance, nothing overwhelming. The cream has a light, milky look to it and is more on the watery side. It feels gentle on the skin. Once applied, it dries quickly and doesn't feel sticky or tacky. My face just has a nice, moisturized feeling. This product is great for moisturizing your face before applying makeup as it isn't too heavy and will give you a light glow. I believe that's what this product is made for. This is housed in a glass bottle with a pump head, very sanitary for frequent use. Like all Korean products, the expiration date is printed on both the box and the bottle - no guessing game there! Overall I am very happy with this product. I actually have a few other JUNGSAEMMOOL products and they have all been excellent!
