Disappointing!
I purchased this in order to make holes in a tree root i am ATTEMPTING to remove. I add to the hole Magnesium Sulphate ie EPSOM SALTS which goes down to holes, dehydrates the roots making them easy to remove! This Drill Bit was NOT successful, it got stuck and broke my drill!

17 inch auger drillbit
This bit is just what I needed. It’s being usedto pull dirt up and out of a pipe that was installed in the ground to hold a flag pole. Works just great

Didn't break.
I drilled a bunch of holes and it didn't break. Much better than the other bit I bought before which broke off and it's still lodged in the wood.
