1280 Sea Flush

This is a great product but take measurements and make sure it will fit for your application. My strainers are too close to either the bulkhead or other installed equipment to be able to get a good fit. Sold the system to my dockmate who loves it.

This worked great. Exactly as advertised. I used it to flush my marine AC. I had a little trouble getting the CLR cleaner into the system. I had to run the AC pump for a few seconds, then add more cleaner, over and over again. Consider buying a shop vac to force the water out and the cleaner in, to avoid that inconvenience.

One size of bungee cords doesn't fit all strainers. In addition to the one included there should be another pair about 6 inches longer. In addition, the snorkel should screw onto the shop vac insert to better secure it during filling operation.

Trac Ecological 1280 Sea Flush makes winterization so much easier. Great product.

1st, bungee straps were too short. Used zip ties to make longer connections and so I could pull it good and snug into strainer. Then extended hose up and filled with Barnacle buster, Grey center piece popped out from head pressure making bilge area a mess. Tried 3 times with same result. Took it home and made upper and lower collars, held together with zip ties. No way it's popping out now. After my modifications it works fine. Overpriced, but it now works and both AC units on my boat now work great.

Complain all you want that it's overpriced for what it is, but the ease of being able to just plug your hose and flush your cooling system directly into the sea strainer is totally worth the money. It's so easy I usually just do a fresh water flush after each trip. Also used it to flush some Barnacle buster using the shop vac attachment, also was handy to see how much water gets sucked in at idle.

I know how to properly secure this, but not enough to keep suction.

It was very simple and easy to use it does as advertised the only two cons are it’s a bit big to fit in tight places and highly overpriced but it did it did shorten my time I could not use it to winterize my air conditioner units on my boat the funnel would not fit in such a small place
