Lamomo Outdoor Motion Sensor Wall Light,Dusk Til Dawn Lamp with Bulb,Black

Almost put off by some negative reviews - but I wanted the combined dusk to day and motion sensor functions so risked it. Yes the design is open at the bottom - but it takes a real bulb so you can replace when needed (unlike built in ones which mean replacing the whole unit when the LED dies). The lights are great - in multi-mode you can set the dim level so the light is on overnight on a low setting that suits you. When someone approaches the light goes to full brightness. Easy to change this after install too so you can adjust light level, sensitivity and length of time the light stays on/bright. Sensor is in the top so you have to be quite close to trigger it - but this suits us perfectly as the path to the summer house is now lit with enough light to see by and gets brighter when you are close and need to see better for entry. No more waving at a temperamental floodlight sensor from the house end - or annoying the neighbours with a floodlight that is too bright or triggers when you least want it.

Fantastic light, Easy to install and set up and is well made and good quality. The light has 3 different modes you can choose from. 1 Dusk to Dawn. 2 Pir motion sensor or 3 Hi low. I have set mine to High low which is fantastic as it illuminates at dim levels during Dusk and when motion is detected it brightens to 100%

This item is an excellent and attractive addition to most porches. There are only two criticisms which are firstly, it works at its best if mounted on a wall directly facing the direction of approach. Mine, being mounted at 90° to the approach, doesn't react until someone is in the porch. The motion sensor cannot be rotated. Secondly, its activation setting detects activity, turning on the lamp, while the daylight is still quite bright - not even twilight, let alone dusk. Ditto at dawn (and sometimes during a cloudy day). But for these two things (particularly the latter), I would have given it 5 stars. Having said all that, the wall light is sturdy and well constructed, with a pleasing presentation. It is easy to mount on a wall and, particularly, the generous wiring tails permit straightforward and easy connection to the power supply; if only other manufacturers' devices were so well thought out. The light is supplied complete with a LED bulb, with Edison Screw fitting, rather than the UK bayonet cap, but this is not a problem as ES lamps are available in the UK. Interestingly, this is not just any old LED bulb, but a traditional saw-tooth LED filament clear bulb, that looks attractive when activated, giving a 'warm white' light. Definitely worth buying, although I bought it at a lot less than the 4 Dec 2024 price!

Absolutely brilliant- super classically stylish and great lights with great sensors! We'd previously bought others elsewhere which were terrible these are absolutely brilliant and we've had them 3 years now - meant to leave a review earlier - but just wanted to now as they've really stood the test of time! Buy with confidence!

Great light had a good 8 months now. Feel much safer now it is there. Nearly didnt buy it due to a few reviews but so glad we did. Looks lovely in white to match the windows ect. Good coverage when triggered to show who is there. Would have another but not needed. Value for money is excellent.

DO NOT BUY !! I had this lamp fitted by a qualified electrician who set it on Auto. It worked for a couple of days, then on the third night failed to come on, then worked for one night and never worked again. I changed it to Auto+ setting and the exact same thing happened. I contacted the seller and described the problem. They asked for video proof of the light working and not working. Obviously I could only video not working. I filmed my light not working and next door's light working six times - different length videos, even got it down to 3 seconds but the link I was sent would not accept any of my videos. I am still waiting for a response from the seller as to how I can proof the light is not working. This is not a cheap light and given I paid for an electrician to install it I have lost a lot of money. It's a lovely lamp and looks great when working, but the one I got sent isn't fit for purpose.

A great light. Had it a couple of years now and still working perfectly. It comes on automatically at night and when detects motion it goes brighter and you can also switch it brighter. Very happy with it.

writing this review as on purchasing the information was not available. firstly the positives.. its a smart looking metal case , and the light it gives off is suitable to my needs. my biggest problem however is its IP rating .the box is officially stating IP23. there is no backing plate to this light so all wires are exposed to the rear of unit where the smallest of connection box is to connect power source to. the lamp also is not enclosed underneath so inevitably insects etc no doubt will take up home in time. i nearly returned on these points alone but liked the look so much i thought id try but given the price it is a gamble as to how long they last. i personally used silicone to seal connection points behind plate and also around the case which fits to wall. if your mounting surface is not flat i,d say avoid..time will tell for me

I got a set of two to put next to my garage as we have no outdoor outlets. I LOVE the look! They are functional and stylish, and easy to install. They are good quality and an amazing value for what we spent.

We live out new light outside on our sun porch. It looks pretty snd works perfectly!

It's what I wanted, simple and unassuming like the back of my house. I didn't want to make a statement, but it doesn't look cheap like the one I had to replace. Some energy saving firm sent by the local utility company came and took my mom's perfectly good fixture away and replaced it with one with a CFL bulb that had a base nobody's ever seen before, so there was no replacement for. They could've simply screwed in a CFL bulb with a standard base, but why not make life more difficult for an elderly person? They took away a couple of great lamps I'd bought her and replaced them with some that didn't illuminate much, and again they had bulbs no one had ever seen anywhere. Anyway, this is great. It'll be fun having light on the patio again. It was a straightforward installation, it probably took me 20 minutes, but I go kind of slow. I almost didn't buy this because of how big they look in the photo with the house on either side of the large door or window or whatever it is. I just happened to look at the specs though and realized it wasn't that large. If you notice the smaller one shown on the upstairs level, that's the real size of it. I was avoiding giant fixtures, I didn't want one that dwarfed the house. They must've mocked up some giant sized ones for that photo. It's just nice and clean, not too modern, not too old timey, just a nice new sconce, and it works. I put my thumb over the sensor, and after about 10 seconds the light went off. I like the clear unobstructed glass for the light value. I love that it's aluminum, I probably will die before it needs replacing. It's good! ;D It'll look better after I touch up the paint, though. It's been up and running for a few days, and I'll just add that the bulb included is charming, but doesn't put out much light. It mimics an Edison bulb, but it's an LED. It's fine though, as I don't want lots of light streaming through my bedroom window or bothering the neighbors, but if we're ever going to need light for hanging out on the patio I'll have to screw in a different bulb, which is not a big deal.

This light is so cute for our back door! Instant update to the house. Love the modern farmhouse/ industrial style of the lantern and the light bulb. Gives a lot of light and husband installed easily! Would purchase more!
