Great - with one caveat. I understand that some reviewers have had annoying failures with this device. Mine stopped working for no apparent reason so I dismantled it (just 2 screws). Actually quite well put together except that the plastic float inside moves up and down freely on side indents. The float is very light, so if it settles not quite vertical, it can stick either open or closed. I put candle wax on mine and so far has been perfect. A tiny bit of lube or graphite might also work.

I'd say good value.It's tricky getting the level perfect because it has no ideal fixing points, but once you have it set up, it works well. Easy to clean out too.

This is a great little float valve. Works very well just one problem there is no nut on the thread of the pipe, that allows the water through, and secures the float to the wall of a tank So it is not easy to attach and seal the float.

The media could not be loaded. Use a hose fitting and a clamp with this and no more overflowing water troughs. I have one on a hose pipe and one on an IBC rainwater collector. Brilliant.

I haven't installed it yet but checked it's working. I don't know how long life it is, hop will service for long time.

The nut to fix it in place is missing
