I bought it because it was cheap...
I bought this kit because I was trying to redo a small fence for as cheap as possible and the home depot kit was 40 bucks, man it's crazy how good this kit turned out. I ended up using redwood instead of pressure treated for the gate because it was lighter and I used deck screws instead of the included screws because of all the reviews of how the included screws rust. Everything went together so easy! I do wish the pull rope for the latch was a piece of wire instead of plastic rope but I can't complain considering the kit was less than $30. Would definitely recommend!

Nice set
Very nice set. Just take a moment to understand the latch system. LOL. Gald the husband was close. Trying to figure out the ring and rope. Place that part INSIDE what you are locking so you can pull it yo release the lock outside. LOL. Very good quality! Heavy duty. I should gave a 5 star but couldn't get back yo that area.

The Quality is Fantastic for the price!! Better quality than a kit I got at Lowe’s and thick steel strap with perfect powder coat and just a great experience all the way around. How the heck did you deliver it in half a day? LOL!! I’ve seen fast shipping but this was same day as I ordered it at 4:00 when I woke up and I’m impressed by it at 6pm that’s insane and AWESOME!!!!

This kit really helped my son build a gate for the garden. Quick and easy and fool-proof.

A doable project for most
With basic power tool experience, this can be accomplished. However, do not recommend using the included screws because they strip easily, are not great quality.

Drill bit and screws break
Drillbit for the pilot hole broke and the screw strip and break easy. Makes the project much longer. everything else is built well.
