Truly satisfying results from a remarkable cleaning product for an old-timer
I am an 80-year-old male with gradually decreasing flexibility, especially for cleaning my bathtub/shower. I bought Wet and Forget Shower solution to transform what was for me a very challenging task into something I could comfortable live with. I had high expectations based on Amazon reviews, but it sounded too good to be true, anyway. It wasn't!From what I read about the product, I realized that removing the product from the shower walls and tub would require some volume of water, and my shower head would in no way suffice. I looked at Amazon shower head offerings and purchased the highly flexible Cobbe product. The Cobbe shower head/sprayer was extremely easy to install, in spite of my initial instinct to make it more difficult than it turned out to be, based on years of household plumbing experiences. I removed old Teflon tape and applied new to the water supply spout extending from the wall. I then threaded and manually tightened each connection, per included installation instructions. After tightening each joint as much as I could by hand, the ball adjustment for the final angle of the spray head remained fully flexible. With some trepidation, I turned on the water supply and looked for the inevitable small leaks on one of more of the joints. There were none! I waited a few moments and opened the shower head to spray some water, and all was well. I turned it back off. Still no leaks. I then opened the convenient sprayer control and obtained a strong spray, ideal for cleaning the tub and shower walls. Excellent results from Cobbe! After taking a shower with the new Cobbe shower head, I then applied the Wet and Forget Shower solution with the provided spray applicator. My tub and tiled shower walls were pretty nasty after months of neglect, and prior reviews warned that it might take multiple applications/removals to get things clean. After allowing the product to sit idle for 8 hours, per instructions, I used the Cobbe sprayer with hot water to remove the Wet and Forget from the walls and tub. The strong, hot spray quickly did a far better than expected job of removing the assorted soap scum and whatever black and orange junk that was scattered here and there around the tub. The stuff streamed off the walls and tub sides and down the drain. It took almost no time for this to take place. Due to the extremely nasty condition that was presented for cleaning, the initial application/removal was not perfect. I estimate that about 10-15% remained here and there in the grout between tiles and in corner joints. Overall appearance was markedly improved, but not perfect, so I kept going. I applied another dose of Wet and Forget to the remaining dirty areas and let them sit for about 11 hours, from morning to evening. I repeated the hot spray removal process and most of the residual grime washed away immediately. There remained about 5% of what I started with, so I went thru the process again. After another 9 hours, I sprayed again and almost everything was gone. I attacked the few stubborn areas with a toothbrush for about 3-4 minutes and sprayed hot water again. There remain a few light stains in a corner joint, but the rest of the tub and shower are clean as a whistle. I am absolutely delighted with the results and will now begin using the Wet and Forget product once a week, as suggested on the product container. For you younger users using the product on less neglected tubs/showers, I have no doubt that your results will be even more immediate and satisfying.

works fast!
It works fast, folks! for months we've had an orange residue in the shower that normally takes hours to scrub off. since our only able bodied adult works full time and long hours (but is also the culprit making the shower orange with his need for sunscreen for work) the shower rarely gets cleaned. i decided to try this spray and in the first day we could see it was starting to remove some of the orange residue that's been there for many months. after less than a week it's nearly all gone and we haven't had to scrub at all. it's true you only need to rinse it off with water. easy peasy. no foaming, no mess, smells okay, not too strong. we're really happy with the results. highly recommend. i even only got online just to write a review before i get back to working on recovering to be a second able bodied person in this house. back to my napping now!

Great… but you’re still out here scrubbing like it’s cardio day
Wet & Forget does help, like your shower definitely looks cleaner and the grime doesn’t build up as fast. The vanilla scent is nice too — your bathroom smells like a dessert instead of a chemical factory. But let’s be honest: it does NOT replace actual scrubbing. You still gotta get in there and put some elbow grease into it.It’s awesome for maintenance, slows down the nastiness, and makes cleaning easier… but it’s not a “spray and walk away forever” situation. More like “spray and walk away… until next weekend.”Rating: 4/5 — solid product, but you’re still scrubbing like a medieval monk doing penance.

4.5 stars
This stuff really works. I tried everything to clean the soap scum buildup on the glass doors in my kids’ shower. I scrubbed until my arms were sore and could never get the doors completely clean until I tried this product. With a fraction of the effort I was able to get the glass shower doors sparkling clean. This product has changed my life !! I am deducting half a star because, as other reviewers have noted, the sprayer is problematic. About half way through the bottle the sprayer stopped working and I had to keep transferring the product to another smaller spray bottle. This needs to be addressed.

And the jury is still out........
My wife saw the reviews for this shower cleaner and placed an order. Despite arriving quickly, it was a few days before it got its first use. To put it plainly: We were underwhelmed. Did it remove the dirty soap scum from the bottom of our shower-tub? We'll yes, but you really had to look to see it. To be fair, this is a brand-new cast iron Kohler, full-sized tub. It has a simple, but beautiful stark-white finish, with a good portion of the tub-bottom covered with a non-slip surface that greedily collects "everything" (you know what soap scum includes), so the bottom of our tub winds up looking dingy and dirty most of the time. I've cleaned it a number of times, bringing it back to looking new each time, but within days it starts to take on "that look." I've used the soft-scrub type cleaners, with and without bleach (the ones with bleach work the best) on 3M-type scouring pads, as well as rag towels. This works well, but my arm gets worn out and it takes a lot of time. I even bought a name-brand powered scrubber designed to do this kind of work. It uses similar scouring pad materials sized to fit its little round drive plate. This works too, but it took so long that I had to recharge it to finish the job, and my arm hurt almost as much as doing it by hand! Enter "Wet and Forget." Well, like I said, we were underwhelmed, and as I type this the tub is now sitting with its third application of Wet and Forget. I'm sure that when we run the water to rinse it down tonight the tub will look "better," but I feel confident that the result be another "close, but no cigar" outcome. Well, the bottle does give you a lot of cleaner that you can apply, and so far my arm hasn't felt tired or sore at all, but the tub still looks dirty and dingy, although now it includes clean spots where the cleaner has lifted the soil. We'll keep spraying (after all this stuff wasn't cheap and eventually it may finish the job), we just wonder if we'll need to order a second bottle to get the tub clean! I suppose if we could have ordered our tub without the safety-treads feature we wouldn't have this problem, but I don't know if you can order any tub without the safety-treads the way the safety-crazies are now. I have to admit, those treads have saved me more than once from slipping while showering, so I guess we're glad they're there. As for "Wet and Forget": We'll get back to you.

Surprisingly pleasant and effective
I am honestly surprised with how well this seems to work! I needed to remove the pink color that was forming in the grout of my shower floor. I've applied it only acouple of times and have seen a significant difference. I have applied it thoroughly and let it stand for 24 hours. When I rinse before showering it suds up nicely and anymetal is shiny and spot-free. I especially like the scent. Everything else I've tried is noxious, this I hardly notice when spraying, willI am honestly surprised with how well this seems to work! PLEASE READ, BEWARE, MAY RUIN YOUR FINISHES. May eat through high gloss, leaving streaks.
IT RUINED MY HIGH GLOSS TILE FINISH. BEWARE, if you dont have WHITE walls, I do not recommend this wet it and forget it cleaner. It ruined my high gloss tiled walls. I initially just bought this for the shower curtain that was transparent, clear and it left a white film all over even after scrubbing. It turned my shower curtain opaque. I did everything exactly as instructed I wet the walls wet every single inch of the bathtub and walls and then I sprayed it and left it for 8 hours the first time, the second time I thought if I sprayed it again I would be able to remove some of the film the white streaks that it leaves instead I noticed that my walls were losing the shine and lacquer but I thought it was only temporary so I did it a third time and this time I sprayed the walls with water did it again and then scrubbed the walls to see if I could get the product off the walls instead it removed the high gloss finish not only of my walls but also of my shower curtain also my Hardware faucet and showerhead. I wish I would have taken a before picture of how highly glossy my walls were but I never thought this would be a possibility. If you have white plastic ABS plastic acrylic White Tiles I think this would work because the white Blends in with the white but I also think it would remove any shine any gloss any finish you have on your tile and walls regardless of whether it's white or not. If you have beige walls cream walls or any other color I do not recommend this product because I had a very high gloss finish and I don't know if it had anything to do with running a fan near the bathroom that helped dry this product out into the walls but the fan was not directly at the tile so I can't figure out what I'm going to do now to bring the shine back to my tiles. It ruined not only my Hardware but my wall tiles and shower curtain. I am devastated. I think my walls were too clean before I started so since there was no soap scum or mildew the product had nothing to eat off the walls that it went straight to eating the lacquered Finish. If you don't have white walls it may leave white streaks where it ate through your finish that can't be removed, you may not be able to tell if you have white walls because it may blend in but you will definitely be able to tell if you have beige or cream walls like me.Here is what Amazon Rufus said "I'm sorry to hear that the Wet & Forget Shower Cleaner damaged your glossy tile walls. This is concerning, especially since the product states it's "safe for use on most surfaces like glass, porcelain, fiberglass, metal, sandstone and tile."Based on customer feedback, you're not alone - several customers report similar issues with streaking and surface damage. Some mentioned having to use Windex multiple times to remove streaks, and others noted the product left white residue or damaged their surfaces.Immediate action needed:Stop using the product immediately on your tilesDocument the damage with photos for potential manufacturer contactContact Wet & Forget customer service - many customers with similar damage issues reached out to the manufacturerFor the streaked walls, customers who experienced similar problems found some success with:Thorough rinsing with warm water multiple timesUsing glass cleaner (like Windex) to remove stubborn streaksLight scrubbing while rinsing (despite the "no scrub" claims)Since this appears to be product-related damage rather than normal wear, you may have grounds for a warranty claim or replacement through the manufacturer."

Clean shower every day
I've had other Wet & Forget products that work amazing and this one is no different. No harsh orders and one application a week keeps my tile and grout in the shower perfectly white. I was continuously getting mildew in the corners with my old daily shower spray. This spray got rid of the mildew and keeps it away. I also spray on my glass shower door which keeps the soap scum away. I've been using this for a month so far and couldn't be happier. It is more expensive than daily shower sprays but you really use so much less and its so much more effective that it will save both time (cleaning time) and money in the long run.

IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!
This stuff really works!! It makes everything shine again!! You just spray it after a shower once or twice a week and you have a super shiny tub and tiles. The spray nozzle is very easy to use.The one thing I will add, make sure you clean your tiles first because they can look streaky. This is a great product!! You won't be disappointed with this one!!

Absolutely useless
Product doesn't work. We tried it several times and it made no difference at all. It was a wasteof money.

Good but….
Wet & forget shower only really works if you start with a mostly clean shower. Then you use it every week to keep the limescale down. I’ve been using this for about 3 months now and although I wouldn’t be without it, it’s not the best. I’ve had to scrub on occasion. I would recommend it though as it saves a lot of time and if you’re in an area with limescale then it’s a life changer. The spray adapter that it comes with is brilliant. I love all the products in this manufacturers range but this is the least effective of all their cleaners.

Spray and forget
It didn’t clean like I was hoping but we are on well water and I think that is the reason. It did make a difference but was slow doing so. 5 treatments to get acceptable.
