ANDYCINE LUCHBOX READER

Perfect companion for my ninja V, The transfer solid, I have it paired to a thunderbolt cable for max speeds. It’s so small and easy to store. The only con I’d say is how flimsy it feels at times. I’ve had to tighten the screws to reduce the wiggle on the ports. I’d love it if the usbc port had a little more support on the mounting to get rid of that wiggle.

This has been such a lifesaver for me, as I've had several different brand usbc to sata adapters fail to work on job sites for no reason what so ever. The Andycine has been bulletproof so far on several job sites with no fails, Would highly recommend.

Other than the fact that it works and fits very nicely with the Lunchbox housings, there's not a whole lot to say about this product. I do appreciate that it doesn't have a cable sticking out of it, allowing you to use whatever length USB-C cable suits your particular use case.

This is a quality product but it isn't as fast as others. I tested the speed using Black Magic Disk Speed test and found that the read speed was much slower than using a sabrent sata to USB-A along with a USB-A to USB-C adapter. I did the tests on a MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports. See attached images of speed test. The AndyCine Lunchbox II with EVO 870 2TB SSD works great on my Atomos Ninja V+, records 8K ProRes Raw HQ without a fuss.

This is must have for the Andycine lunch. I paired this with my Lunchbox for fast and quick connection to my computer. You gotta have this and you will save about $70 over a Atomos SSD reader

Not at all reliable, issues with connection (which most of the time it doesn't) and when it does speeds are horrendously slow. Wasted my money on this paperweight?

I like the idea taking a ssd harddrive and making it portable. 1TB or higher too. I found that this is light weight and fits in my pocket if needed. I find that it's easier to leave it connected to the ssd and just plug it in. Swapping the harddrive is good. I used this on some of my old ssd to pull info off of them that I thought was lost. I have seen these before but are different what I also like is they are plug and play. The only thing I don't like about this is the weakness between the ssd and adapter. Feels and looks like the tabs on the ssd will break off so maybe a little bracket will be needed to be made to support both of them. Other than that I like this alot. Made from aluminum it makes it easy to dissipate heat so it won't overheat and stay cool. We'll might get warm. Hope you get this for your ssd too. Good Luck.
