I bought this to replace my 15 year old Imperial gauge set. After pulling vacuum the micron gauge said one reading and the vacuum function on this set was way off and had to keep getting calibrated. There is some leaking in the manifold or hose set that came with it as my system was tight and over night it lost vacuum on the gauge/hose part. I ended up rebuilding my Imperial set and Yellojacket hoses and I could pull past 500 micron and keep the system there. This would probably work for a DIY or if you don't care how well your HVAC system is cleaned out then go ahead and purchase it. If you want to get a good digital gauge set spend the money on a name brand.
