Get a longer hose now and you'll be set
First off, just grab a longer silicone hose now. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQCNQ9SP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title As all the other reviewers mention, the hose is indeed comically short. It would only be of use if you were setting the pump directly on top of your container or something. But beyond that, this thing works really well. It's true that there are so many other 15-20 dollar options on Amazon, but I have a lot of Dometic stuff in our overland kit, and I love the quality. The button requires a double tap to start, and it's kind of a soft touch button. It feels like tapping your touchscreen phone, but you have to press slightly harder. It's kind of a strange in-between that's required pressure-wise, but it works well enough. You can even do very small amounts of water once you get the hang of the on/off command. To those that complain about how slow it is, I'd say get over it and consider that this is a small battery powered pump with a USB charger. This isn't a 60psi pressurized water system in your house. It pumps out a 1/4" stream of water that takes about 15 seconds or so to fill up a 1L bottle. I'm happy with that. It beats picking up a big 5g jug to fill a Nalgene. By the way, the auto-off feature is pretty nice because it seems to fill up about a liter. So if you have a 1.5L bottle that's empty, you could put it underneath, turn on the pump and walk away if you wanted.

Great product, rechargeable, works as needed
Faucet worked great pumping from my Rotopax water cans, perfect for washing up, cooking, etc. Magnetic base, or it's pucks, for mounting on many surfaces. Easy to get set up, I likely will make up a kit for even easier access to my water cans. Battery life seems to be adequate and easily rechargeable if you're near your vehicle.

ADD USB-C already, it's 2025
Four stars BECAUSE it uses micro usb. The pump feels high quality in the hand, and has decent water pressure. But holy heck, it's 2025, there ain't no reason to add USB-C to this thing. Every other device on the planet is using this, INCLUDING iPHONES believe it or not. And yet, to save probably 8 cents per unit, they went with micro usb. Other than that, I installed a Sawyer water filter and it works perfectly. I can't yet speak to battery life, but I assume it will fit my needs.

Total Game Changer
I recently built out a camping kitchen setup for the back of our Jeep Wrangler, one of my aspirations was running water. I looked at hand pumps and all sorts of setups before landing on this. It's not cheap, but it is in line with even some of the simpler hand pumps I researched. Over a week of camping use, I never needed to recharge it. The led light is a nice touch when doing dishes or brushing teeth in the dark. However, do not expect house-style pressure or volume. This provides a steady but relatively small stream of water, and it automatically shuts off after pumping about a liter, which some may find frustrating. Finally, before buying, I looked high and low to see if there was a way to use this with any standard water bladder or can. I never found an answer. It does have what looks like a proprietary connector, so I ended up with two of the Dometic 11 liter cans, and while those are pricey as well, I am happy to have them. The faucet will function with the cans upright or on their side.

Love it.. its a wonderful upgrade
I was thinking why I would/should purchase this I had some extra $$ to splurge and decided I would go for it. It has made getting water extremely easy especially in the early morning when making coffee while camping. When paired with the Dometic water tank they work seamlessly. It is really nice to just tap and the water dispenses without having to twist knobs, levers and such. If you need to clean dirty hands or get some water to clean a pan or simply refill a waterbottle - this makes is quick. I have loved using this, and the fact that it is rechargeable is even better- it can be recharged off a battery pack, car charger but I have used it for a week and it never needed charging. It was money well spent. Easy for little kids to use as well.

Expensive for limited functionality
I’ve been using this in my campervan for one year. Likes: -battery life lasts more than 5 gallons -magnetic mount lets me mount it anywhere on the outside of my van for a quick shower -seems to be fairly durable -it had great water flow when new Dislikes: -friends and family struggle to use it -short neck is not great for washing hands -hose comes off when I rotate the faucet in its magnetic base. I’d like more adjustment/extention/rotation -no filter to prevent clogs

Good system!
Works perfectly. We dont have on-board water, but we do now! The system works great. I've made two different plates to use the magnetic base on. Perfect

Awesome Product!!!!!
Why did you choose this product over others?: After hours of research this product came out tops! Dometic make some of the best quality products on the market. Was originally going to be used in my van conversion, but that never happened so now it’s used in my Tesla when out on long road trips instead.

Classic good Dometic product!
Don't buy cheap knock off. This is what you need for your overlanding setup. I did have to upgrade on the longer hose though to fit my needs
