Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Complete Series [DVD]

A great show that I've watched beginning to end multiple times, and will again and again throughout life. This is one of those rare shows that is better because of the supporting cast than the actual lead. Especially Joe Lo Truglio. What makes this collection a step above many other complete series that I've bought, is the case that it comes in. Each season is in its own plastic case within the box set. The discs are very easy to remove without fear of cracking them. Most of these sets come in a case where all the discs are packed so tightly together, that removing them is an extremely stressful situation (as I've had discs crack trying to remove them, and had to purchase replacements....here's looking at you "The Office").

Everything seems to work great. I got the dvd set and everything is accounted for. The discs are clean, they don’t skip and the box is a snug fit. I’m so excited to have physical media for one of my favorite shows. I look forward to playing it out at home.

I like to put on shows to put in the background while I craft, something that'll give me a laugh, I didn't expect to put down the craft and then realize a few episodes later I had not continued from where I left off. You know it's a good show when that happens. I enjoy being able to own the physical media that seems to be disappearing from store shelves from coast to coast, so I was doubly excited when there were no defects on the discs, and so far there have not been any skips or the like. I think what sets this show apart from your average comedy, besides being held in a Brooklyn precinct, is that there is character growth. These characters don't stay in their same monotonous character types, they branch out and in the end give you some feels you didn't quite expect. Without giving any spoilers, I would have to say the funniest thing on the show is something that actually happened to me in real life. As a teenager I once told my mother she needed what Rosa told Captain Holt and Kevin they needed, and let me tell you, my mother reacted the same way for the rest of the day towards me 😂

The Wife and I ordered this as soon as we realized Netflix only had S1-4. We both are enjoying this show and were excited to find the complete series for decent price. Ordered it and just got in mail few minutes before this review. Glad to get it so quickly but the case that the DVDs come in are frayed/torn on the top and bottoms seems on the back side holding the DVDs. Just sad to get it like this even when it was wrapped in plastic.

Great picture and audio quality, and a straight forward menu that puts you right in the episode selector. even gives you the option to play every episode one after another. my only hang-up is that none of the discs have any bonus features other than giving you a few deleted scenes on like 2-4 episodes per season. would have loved some bts or interviews.

For anyone in the UK, I can confirm that this does play in the UK and is region free. For reference I tested via a UK PlayStation 5 console which worked fine & is an official product. Nice bundled set, with good picture & sound quality. Very happy to find this on blu ray as the UK only released standard dvd.

The box was a bit torn but everything else was great and nothing scratched. Plays great. Love this series

I think this is one of the best Blu-Ray boxsets I own. It does work on UK Blu-Ray players and it is really good and it is shot in HD. I love a lot of episodes and could take time to explain. The best era is Season 3 to 5 and while Season 8 was the weakest but it had a brilliant 2 parter to finish the show. Worth getting
