Streaks and Strands Semi-Permanent UV-Protective Conditioning Hair Color (Blue Ruin) - PPD-Free, Cruelty-Free & Vegan, Lasts 15-24+ Washes

THIS IS ONLY 2 OZ! I did not realize that when buying this. I bought this in Rock Lobster for my daughter. When it arrived I took one look at the bottle, realized my mistake and threw it in a bathroom drawer for possible use later. She decided she wanted pink hair instead, so we bought Ex Girl in a 5oz bottle. She has light/medium brown hair with blonde highlights that hits slightly below her shoulders. Ex girl covered her hair beautifully with bright pink streaks and a pink tint to her natural hair. The 5oz we bought just barely did her whole head, so no way the 2oz was going to touch it. Lo and behold, 2 weeks after dyeing it pink, she decided again she wants red hair. Well, it says the 2oz is for streaks and strands, so I decided to try to just cover the outside strands with Rock Lobster. Total success. It covered all of her outer strands, highlighted and unhighlighted and she has bright red hair. She looks like Ariel. I was unsure of how it would come out going over the pink, but it is beautiful and bright. It's been a couple of weeks now and doesn't seemed to have faded, the red is holding steady. Her pink I could see fading after about two weeks, but not this red. Not yet. As far as other aspects of the dye itself, it smells amazing, moisturizes and covers well. There was some red dye on her towels after the first and second washes, but nothing too terrible and the towels came out good as new after one wash. No dye on her pillows after sleeping either. It has a very thick consistency, which I personally like. It might be a bit more difficult to spread around because of this, but there was nothing dripped on the floor to clean up.

I absolutely love this hair dye! The color is so vibrant, especially on pre-lightened hair. I also love that as it fades, it doesn’t just turn into a dull or weird color. It gradually gets lighter while still keeping the color. I’ve been really happy with the results and would definitely use it again!

I love this color and brand! I mixed this with the Good Dye Young - All In This color after bleaching with 30v developer and Clairol BW2 bleach powder and I thought that this was going to bleed everywhere and mess up my bathroom and bedroom. Surprisingly, the color came out to be extremely vibrant and just what I wanted while it rinsed off of all of my surfaces with just water. The only thing I would say to look out for is that the container is very small. Luckily for me, the All In This container came way bigger and I had enough to do the rest of my hair that I didn’t bleach (added developer to the dye). I knew I could trust you, Hayley Williams.

I started on dark brown hair instead of dark blonde and I’d say this color shows up great in the light. It does not show much inside and I still see the brown undertone in some lights. My only other complaints are that it's not alot of product and it's staining. I rinsed until clear and when yet styling and sleeping the dye was still showing on surfaces two weeks later. I'm testing to see how long it lasts but i would recommend this overall. One tube covered most of my head but it was hard to spread and less than I'm used to seeing.

BEWARE this is not a full size bottle! I swooned too hard for the low price, which is my fault, so please beware if you are dying your whole head you will need the full size, not “streaks and strands”. I love this brand and shade of green so not going to waste, but I did intend to buy a larger bottle lol

Pros first: the dye smells like lemons and it's very hydrating. It doesn't stain much. Cons: it lacks pigment pretty badly. I dyed my bangs and my front strands and it took half the tube to adequately saturate my hair. I let it sit the recommended time and the transfer was splotchy. I had some pink tint in my hair from a previous dye and it didn't take in this area at all. I legitimately prefer splat over this product. This is more like a colored hair mask than a true semi permanent dye. It might be good for a refresher for vivid but not the main thing.

I have been using this exact product for years now on my bangs. It's incredibly hydrating and smells lovely. The color payoff is like no other and it's also UV reactive, which is awesome. I'm known at my workplace for having pink hair and the one time I dyed it back to natural, so many people were so sad that I dyed it right back to pink!

This dye is amazing color wise, applied evenly and is super vibrant. I adore the color and its exactly as advertised and what I wanted. (purple is iroiro - I'm going to buy this brands purple once it runs out!) My reason behind it not being 5 stars is the amount you get for how much you pay. This amount of dye in my hair used up 3/4ths of the tube, and I was sparing!! However I think the color is worth buying again!

I love this brand and the colour!! Don’t get me wrong. My issue is with the price and size. I typically buy the brand from a pharmacy (in Aus), for the full size it’s about $20. From the description and price I concluded it was the full size. Instead I got the small touch up size, which retales for about 7 to 10 dollars. I’m upset and am gonna have to go out and spend the same amount I got for this lil guy, so I can actually revive my colour and roots. Once again. I love good dye young, it stays well will little bleed, it fade gorgeously, the purple is vibrant and has been my go to since they updated the formula (it use to be very blue and would fade blue instead of lilac). 100% recommend the brand to everyone!! I have brown hair and this worked well compared to other brands ,pro tip:keep it longer than two hour for the dark pink look , BUT unfortunately it’s not like the pic it’s so much smaller , I did peekaboo and it finished, so I couldn’t imagine how disappointed I would be if I wanted to do my whole head.

صبغت شعري فيه في الصالون، الاماكن اللي كانت اصفر غامق صارت dusty pink بس رديت صبغت بعض الاماكن اللي صارت صفرا مايلة للبياض و طبع اللون نفسه و انا ما كنت اباه يكون بنفس الدرجة لكنه قوي و يصبغ بسرعة حتى اقل عن عشر دقايق. ما اعرف كم غسلة يحتاج لين يخف اللون.
