DOES NOT WORK. NOT CLEAR IF THE PRODUCT IS LEGITIMATE. IT MIGHT JUST “LOOK” LIKE AN ANEMOMETER. We purchased this product following a careful study of the signal output we needed. Upon receiving the unit, we incurred the cost of a scissor lift and materials and labor to install it on the roof of the building and interconnect it to the monitoring system. The unit failed to output the prescribed signal. The subsequent several hours’ of troubleshooting and ultimate removal deemed the unit inoperative. So now we have hundreds of dollars invested in this dead-on-arrival instrument. The process took a couple of months, because once installed the troubleshooting started down below, then ultimately another scissor lift was needed to go up again and troubleshoot/retrieve the instrument. The vendor says we are out of the 30 day return window and thus refuses to exchange it or give us our money back. This approach seems to suit their agenda. Without a replacement, we can’t say that this product would work ever, under any circumstances. The installers are instrumentation experts, so any subsequent vendor response to this review, such as claim of installation error, would be baseless.

Saw reviews and anecdotes from peers that these break easy if connected improperly. I've gotten mine to work with the following wiring. This does not appear to be a loop transducer but rather a three-wire sensor. Brown: VCC Blue: Signal (high side) Green: GND Black: GND Green and Black have 0 resistance with DMM, so they share the same net. Wire blue to the high side of you sense resistor. There appears to be a delay in the measurement of about a second.

Very cheap made, it's all PVC, feels very light on your hands, the connector is NOT aviation type, its a very cheap connector, plus the thing did not work, I did not get any output, I think another reviewer had the same experience. Please, don't waste your time and money on this thing. It reflects what China is all about: junk! I sent it back right away.
