I got this so I can get a white balance on more than one lens. I tried the ones that are specific for a lens size, but this is universal and I can get a great white balance setting quickly, as long as I remember to turn off the auto focus first. Since I only need the one for all my lenses, I can save money (however I did buy one for each of my camera bags.)

I really like the easy to use WB-F1. Here is a little guidance, (with, with what little knowledge I know, thanks to those out there in YouTube land), on how to use the handy tool, here it goes. (I use a Panasonic G9), in manual mode, (camera adjusted, aperture, shutter, & ISO) Just stand (if you can), alongside what you wish to photograph. Turn around and aim your camera at where you will be photographing from, cover your lens w/ the WB-F1. With the camera on custom white balance, tap the custom white set tab. A little box should pop up in the middle of the viewfinder or touch screen, snap a picture when the camera prompts you, voila, the white balance is set! I don't know if this is exactly how it is done, but I have getting results I am happy with. (Like I said JJC has been obnoxious enough to provide zero guidance). I hope this little tidbit helps and did not confuse too many of you.

I am very impressed with this products rather simple little design and ease of use.I have a Nikon 850 and it works to attain proper White Balance through the WB preset mode.Very easy to use and the results are quite amazing.The only difficult part would be your cameras instructions for WB preset.Once you figure that out you just hold this in front of your lens directed toward the light source and snap a shot.I find that it works well for direct and reflective readings when it's only supposed to work on direct light source readings That is very helpful to not have to swing around and shoot a WB shot to the opposite direction.

Works great getting a very good white balance compared to the one you gaslit yourself into manually making. I do find it leans a bit green and warm indoors, so I do +M +B it a notch, but quick and easy.I see there's a lot of returns reported yet this has nice scores - do note you get ONE FILTER, not two - there are two pictured in the highlight pic, but in the description and via other sellers of this unit, you get one, the market rate LOL.

Great color and skin tones using a Sony FX 6. Plus it is durable.I recommend it!

They work magic just one flaw they split easily

I cannot compare this brand to the name brand, but I can say that it works well for my application. I use this for food photography, and it takes the guess work out of white balance... I simple click of 'auto's in lightroom gets me much closer than just relying on the camera's Auto WB mode.

Helps find white balance quickly. Outdoor use only pretty much. Cheap enough to bring everywhere without worrying about it getting lost. Good to save post production time in editing.

Its only for outdoor shooting it give u correct white balance.. for the indoor shooting u need white paper or card to do it correctly

The white balance screen corrects the WB under tricky indoor lighting conditions. The translucent material is neutral with no color cast. It works for every lens that I own and I keep it inside the outside pocket of my bag and it becomes ready in no time when I pull out using the handle left outside of pocket.
