Better than i expected. Noise level is not bad at all. Cheap but does the job and looks nice

Ok so it’s cheap. It does feel a little flimsy when pressing the buttons. The light is good if a bit stark. The fan tho, is fairly quiet even on full chatter. The fixing screws are a pig to get to and you will need a very long screwdriver or a flexible extension as the motor is in the way. For the price I don’t think you can grumble at all. Suction seems good. Vent pipe is 150mm which is included with the unit. Let’s see how long it lasts.

Really nice extractor fan in black...however it does not come with charcoal filters and cannot find any available for this product. So I have a nice looking extractor fan that I cannot use as I do not have a outside wall. Nice ornament though.

First off , the build quality is really good , looks great , but where it let me down was fixing it to the wall , the joiner said he had no confidence in the way it was to be fixed , my old hood had a bracket that screwed tight to the wall you then hung the hood on to it , but this one you basically put 2 screws into the rawl plugs THEN before you would naturally screw it full you leave about 5mm of the screw out and hang the full weight of the hood on the screws , then you have the 2 screws placed underneath that are really awkward to fix , now my opinion is based on my gyproc wall and on that i wouldn't trust it , hence for that reason I returned it , I would also say it seems to be very front heavy , but as I say maybe fixed to a different surface it'll be better because it does look good , can't review functions for reasons above , I'll stick to a more lightweight hood in future.

This looks great and is very good value for money though it could do with a brighter light. However I found it difficult to fix it to the wall above the cooker. You have to guide it onto two screw heads which need to exactly match small holes in the rear of the fan unit. At the same time the chimney assembly needs to exactly match where you have placed its own hanging bracket and there is no margin for error at all. In the end I had to turn the screws back out to give a better chance to find the holes but the result then is that the things tips downward slightly and I’ve had to use my own external fixings to level it up. It would be much easier if the unit and the chimney could be wall mounted separately.

It seems to be working well …..not the easiest to install ……some screws and plugs short and some little screws a bit fiddly to screw inside at the end …but it’s up now …..worth the price
