Good sounding strings .
I normally go for Elixirs but they are getting a little pricey these days . Coated strings do last longer but don't have that pure brassy tone . Ok you have to change your strings more often but pricewise and tonewise these Earthwoods are worth the hassle .

I used to swear by Elixir, but I now prefer these and they behave consistently
I used to swear by coated Elixir and would keep those on my guitar for 5 months, but I now prefer these. While I get only about two months out of them, the sound is great and they are more consistent than the Elixirs as regards intonation. Their price makes up for the difference in life. Once one starts stretching the high quality Elixirs, they just go from bad to worse. The Earthwood strings seem to appreciate stretching and the intonation returns. So, a bit of stretching and graphite in the nut-slots, and all is right with the world.
