If I purchase this from Amazon, will it come with the new wooden gavel?

yes, it does come with a wooden gavel in this version (2019). I have received the wood gavel along with others. If you order it here you will revive the wood gavel. To avoid confusion the people who haven't received it like rick (who answered the question here) purchased it prior to 2019. So if the wood gavel was the deal breaker than I suggest purchasing the game right now on discount and receiving it with the wood gavel as it's a fabulous acution game. Thank you,
