is it full lettet size? Do sheets of 8 1/2 by 11 paper hang off the sides or bottom?

8-1/2 x 11 paper does not hang off sides or bottom. There is an inch of clipboard left at the bottom, and about 1/4" on both sides. The paper fits great.
