Better than official ST programmer tool
The AITRIP ST-Link V2 Programming Unit was immediately recognized by ST's own STM32CubeProgrammer software which I used to update it's firmware to the latest. I then connected my STM32 device and had zero issues recognizing the device and flashing it with the updated software. I should have just ordered this one from the start, but I thought I could avoid problems by using the official ST-Link/v2. Nope. The official device was apparently defective. It came with very old firmware that I was eventually able to update, but it never recognized the device I was trying to program. I tried using both VCC pins and every GND pin. Nothing worked. Learn from my experience, save yourself time and money and just order this. If you're afraid of getting a faulty unit order the 5-pack and you're still only spending 25% of what the official would cost you. (yes, I'm pretty annoyed at the time wasted trying to get the defective official product to work, but this review is my healing therapy).

Single digit serial number
Because of the serial number being "1" it doesn't work with the cube programmer and therefore I can't use it. I hate wasting time waiting for one to arrive that works properly but that's where I'm at.

Awesome except the for the cables
Decent clone. Sturdy pins. It connects easy to windows and Chromebook. By your self some new cables tho. Happy flashing!
