Works Great! UPDATE. Less than a year and it doesn’t work anymore.
This works great on our outdoor fan. We keep it on the coffee table on our covered patiol. UPDATE. Less than a year and it does not work anymore. But it was the battery so I changed it, but that did not take care of the problem. It has a one year warranty so I will update you when I find out what they do about this problem.

I love having a remote. I really like the luxury of turning the fan on from anywhere in the room. Works great! Very simple - great for an old lady!

it works great, and was super simple to install
Added this remote control to a Honeywell Palm Island 52 inch ceiling fan with a Westinghouse Three LED Cluster ceiling fan light kit...it works great, and was super simple to install. the biggest challenge wound up being getting all of the wires (light, fan, and remote receiver box & wires) worked into the limited space inside the housing.

Won't last!!!!
I really liked the design of these remotes, so I bought (Five) of these remotes to replace my original fan remotes. A year and a half later everyone of the fan modules have failed and the remotes stopped working... these remotes might be pretty, but their complete GARBAGE!!!!! Don't waste your money....

Need it for a replacement for the remote I ruined.. Glad to get it. This is a great system!! You'll enjoy the convenience of turning the ceiling fan up or down. Unless you have kids to do it for you. Trust the kids will thank you for getting this system. A+ from me.

Works Fine As A Replacement.
My previous remote was damaged while changing the batteries. The spring popped off after about 5 years. I could not find the same model number in Home depot but Lowe's had it, but was always out of stock. Got at amazon and had it replaced . This is not my first choice of a fan remote but as a replacement, no complaints.

Works perfectly with minimal set-up
Works perfectly with my new ceiling fan. I love that I can adjust the light and fan from bed, and even set them on a timer (although I really do not use the timer feature). So glad I decided to spring for the remote.
