Great supplement, very safe and good quality
I am using this as one of the supplements to help me with H. pylori. It seems to be working, obviously, in combination with other things. The good thing is that those body-conscious types who are always looking for latest and greatest supplement which will help them build that six-pack have already been taking L-Arginine in megadoses for years (in neighborhood of 35000/day!), and with no side-effects (except for scary muscles). So , based on that, I have been taking, on and off, about 9000mg a day, with no side-effects, only good results. In addition, should you have a problem with ED, this may just do the trick; keep in mind, you'd need to take a lot of it, see above. As with any supplement, start slowly and build up the dosage over time, and never stop abruptly either!

I like L-Arginine
There's a lot of talk lately about NOS based benefits to men. I have found for myself that adjusting the amount taken and the rate of frequency taking it does change the results. Yet not everything happens as fast as microwave food. This path is a slow and gentle restoration to health. Allow it the time it needs to bring you back to center.

Sufficient
Really large pils to swallow and they're brittle so they break in half inside the bottle frequently but that's not such a big deal to me. They're good enough. Seem to work.

Something else worked for me- PLEASE READ
PLEASE SEE IMPORTANT UPDATE AT END (and comments in the comment section- I later found another brand of l-arginine that worked well for me, along with high dosage Vitamin D-3). I purchased this after doing much research on natural products for hypertension, my blood pressure has crept up recently, at times REALLY high. One thing I've seen from years of reading competing reviews is that people are very different, some things work for some but not for others. I tried this, taking 4 per day for a month before writing this review. It didn't lower my blood pressure. I think it may have added slightly to my energy levels, but not dramatically so. At the same time I ordered nattokinase as a replacement for aspirin. After discontinuing the l-arginine, I increased my dosage of that to 2 per day, and added evening primrose oil. THAT did the trick, for me. [Note, it eventually crept back up, I had to go back on multiple meds, but see UPDATE below.] BTW, the reviews of natto proclaim that it also helps with eyesight and cataracts- people report their eyesight being restored to normal with use. [Update: I've since added serrapeptase, with nearly miraculous results, on cholesterol levels in particular, see my review under the nattokinase link below for details.] Best Naturals Nattokinase, 2000 FU, 100 Mg, 90 Vegi Capsules I hope l-arginine works for you (apparently it works for many, based on my reading). But if not, try the natto and/or serrapeptase. I intend to add high potency vitamin E, that's supposed to boost, in a symbiotic way, the nattokinase and evening primrose oil. Good luck! UPDATE: Gosh, I could write a book about my experiments with natural treatments for hypertension. Now I've added a few more things to the mix, with PHENOMENAL results, but space doesn't allow me to give much background info on them, I'll try to be brief. Quickly, I read, related to paleo diets, that our consumption of magnesium/potassium and salt, is assbackwards from what we should be consuming, a LOT more magnesium and potassium, and a lot less salt. Table salt has been treated, it's poison. Natural sea salts have MUCH less sodium, trace minerals of every kind. I've switched to Celtic Sea Salt®, Light Grey, By The Grain & Salt Society, Coarse Ground, 1 lb . I also love Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, these salts have about HALF the sodium of table salt and taste great. If you happen to live in an area that has a Winco store, they have the Pink salt in the self-serve bulk bins for like $2 a pound! Magnesium is difficult to absorb orally. Magnesium, potassium, and Vitamin K are all extremely important in heart function, especially its electrical activity. Other than a cholesterol-lowering statin drug (which I'll discontinue when I nail that, with diet too- *UPDATE*- replaced with Weider Red Yeast Rice with Phytosterols- 180 Tablets ), I've completely stopped all meds, both for hypertension and an irregular heartbeat, by using: Magnesium "oil" sprayed on the skin several times a day, made with: Magnesium Chloride Flakes 5 Pounds . This is pure, food grade, takes five minutes to prepare, easy. Potassium supplements, this one being the only one on the market with 300 mg. instead of the usual 99: Designs for Health K+2 Potassium Vegetarian Capsules, 300mg, 120 Count . Our daily intake is supposed to be 5700 mgs a day, as I recall, so subtract what you get from your food and supplement accordingly. Vitamin K and K2, this formulation: Life Extension Super K with Advanced K2 Complex Softgels, 90-Count . And MOST incredibly of all, a POWERFUL medicine: Nature's Way Hawthorn (Standardized), 90 capsules . This formulation is one of the few with both leaves and berries (thought that would be best, all I know is it works). This added last, in combination with the others (the natto and serreptase too, still taking them), not only reduced my BP to normal/below normal, but evened out my very irregular heartbeat, in one day! My heart used to flutter, now it beats as strongly and evenly as a drum, and my pulse is good too. I take 2 in the am, 1 mid-day, 2 at night. Only downside is that it's a natural diuretic, so you either wake up in the am dying of thirst, or at night having to go to pee, unless you drink just the right amount of water. I've been on this regimen for weeks now, PERFECTLY even keel now, heart-wise!

I'll take the chance
I have had significant blockage in several arteries for 13 years and have used this since then. I have not had anymore episodes of angina or numbness in my extremities since I started taking this. May be the reason or not, but it certainly has not made it any worse.
