does this have a belt loop?

Yes it does but it's cheesy one I had about the axe took it out on one trip snapped so they sent me a new one and that one too broke just do fire feather stick

Is the spike at a good angle for throwing and sticking to somthing standing verticle? It almost looks kinda downward; wondering if anyones had issues.

I’ve never thrown it with the intention of that part sticking. I’ve only had the blade part ever hit. For a beginner it might be a little tough but I think if you’re familiar with throwing a tomahawk it’s possible.
