If you read the instructions the dressing is shipped in an unmoistened state. There is a variety of the product called hydrofera “ready” that does not require you to wet it before applying it. This is the original form of hydrofera and instructs patients to wet the product before applying it to the wound bed. Same great product same results just different format

This is not supposed to adhere or absorb from a wound, it covers and adds a layer of antibiotic

This is very hard when you first put it on making it uncomfortable.

A bit hard but moistening with sterile water or saline helps. Aids in healing.

This was not the product that I thought it was. Unable to return since this product had to be UPS and there is no facility to ship UPS near hear. This product starts out very dry and stiff, must be moistened but then dry's out fast and causes more problems.
