Kadoya Sesame Oil, 22.10 Fl Oz

I like the flavor and it is a staple in some of my dishes.

Delicious roasted sesame flavor at a great price. I add it to sticky rice, noodle bowls, ramen, etc. The only downside is sometimes I pour a little more than I wanted to because of the large opening on the cap, but I've learned to be extra careful and pour slowly.

Ok, you win. This IS the best sesame oil. I kept sniffing around this brand, and would buy something else for a little (or a lot) cheaper. Would taste fine, but I was curious if there was something better. Something that really gives a punch of toasted sesame flavor. Restaurants seem to get that flavor right, and I could not mimic it at home with what I have (name brands even!). So I would see reviews mentioning this is the best (as in, I was on OTHER brand pages and people would say that Kadoya is better). And so, I made my way back over here and bought a bottle (in fact, I bought one then bought another on subscribe & save). WOW so good. I could tell it was going to be amazing as soon as I took the cap off. That aroma is just gorgeous, the taste directly off my finger is exactly what I have been missing when I want that deep toasted flavor. Robust sesame taste, unmistakable. MMmmmm! Now to clarify.. this does not directly say "toasted". But look at that deep dark color! THAT is toasted, roasted whatever my friends. Ingredients: "sesame seed oil". Then it says, "Kadoya Pure Sesame Oils brings ROASTED flavor by sprinkling to your meal such as ramen , Yakitori, & BBQ marinade sauce"

Very fragrant oil and not having to use a lot. The consistency is just a bit thicker than other sesame oil I have tried. The color is a nice light brown and the flavor is rich.

Kitchen essential. I always keep a bottle in the kitchen, as well as an extra in the pantry. Along with Light Soy, Dark Soy, Oyster Sauce, Hoisin, Fish Sauce, Miso Paste, Rice Vinegar Chinese Black Vinegar, Shaoxing Cooking Wine, MSG, ginger, garlic, Szechuan and Korean pepper flakes, Sambal, Panko bread crumbs and White Pepper. These are the pantry essentials for many Asian dishes, and if they're on hand, I can literally whip up almost any Asian wok dish on a whim, without needing to run to the market. At a bare minimum, you should always have Soy Sauce, Toasted Sesame Oil and Rice Vinegar on hand, as well as some form of red pepper flakes. The other ingredients can be fudged
