Keep an eye on that lid!! It likes to disappear and this dries out very quickly! This is veey easy to apply and use. It comes out thick and white but dries completely clear so it dissappeas when dry. It is very strong and keeps things in place quite well. This is a nice size bottle and kind of pretty too!

I use the Original formula, but I bought this clear gel hoping the runoff glue would not show up on my macramé projects, and it does not, which is critical for my business. I wish it would come in a 16 oz. container like the Original glue. I will continue to use Aleene's. My Mom used Tacky Glue back in the 1960's when she was a Girl Scout leader and I can vaguely remember seeing a special on the Art Linkletter show with Arleene Jackson (founder) using it with her faux flowers. It has been a great glue for years and I will continue to use it.

This became my emotional support glue for all 5 years of design school. Excellent tacky glue. It doesn't have the strength of the super glues, but it is perfect for building models, the smell doesn't make me feel like I'm losing brain cells, and it is forgiving.

This isn't super glue by any means, but it will work for very basic craft projects. This basically is ideal or scrapbooking or putting small objects in place for decorating something. The adhesive is medium strength so for light/small objects you don't need a lot. It's a fairly thick glue so if you have any small or thin brushes, I'd recommend using it to brush an even but light coat on what you're gluing rather than squeezing any out the nozzle. I found that the glue worked fairly poorly with: objects near heat [i.e. indoors but near a window all day], objects glued to non-flat/uneven surfaces, objects of any notable weight [so don't use this to repair figurines, ceramics, dishware, etc.]. The glue also worked poorly when it was used in excess, which was annoying considering how thick it was. Overall, it's not a bad product and you get a decent amount for the price, just remember to use it appropriately.

I have not had a problem with this glue. It dries clear and if the top is replaced correctly it does not dry out. I highly recommend it.
