REFRESH OPTIVE MEGA-3

After a blephoroplasty, it felt like I had tiny pieces of glass in my eyes! it was driving me crazy. My eye doctor said that this was a result of corneal nerve damage that can sometimes occur with this type of surgery, and it usually resolves within several weeks! She suggested I use a gel type of eyedrop, as the artificial tears weren’t doing anything for me. I found a handful of studies that looked at omega 3 topical treatments for dry eye and they looked promising for many kinds of patients. Some studies also suggest that topical omega-3 can promote healing of the corneal nerve. Based on this research plus the great reviews, I ordered this product. The results are outstanding! The pain in my right eye completely disappeared within about a minute after application, and the pain in my left eye, which was significantly worse, is barely unnoticeable. I find that they work for about 4 to 5 hours. Then I simply reapply. Some users noted that they sting. I do experience a very slight sting for a second, but that disappears almost immediately. Worth every penny! I do not find the bottle hard to use at all. Highly recommend! If I could give six stars, I would ❤️❤️❤️

My ophthalmologist recommended these drops as part of my pre and post-LASIK routine, so I didn't go into this purchase blind (no pun intended). But even with professional backing, you never really know how something will feel until you actually use it. These have been consistently good. The relief is fast — you feel it almost immediately after applying, that cooling, soothing sensation that dry or irritated eyes after LASIK really need. There's no stinging, no blurriness right after, just actual comfort. I'm now about a month out from surgery and still reaching for these regularly. Dry eye is one of the most common side effects of LASIK and it doesn't disappear overnight, so having something that actually works makes a real difference in day-to-day comfort. One thing I really appreciate about this particular format is the single-dose vials. They're so much more practical than a regular bottle — easy to throw in your bag, use on the go, and you're not worried about contamination since each one is sterile and sealed until you open it. You also end up wasting less product overall, which makes the value per drop better than it might look at first glance compared to the standard bottle. Once you factor that in, the price makes a lot more sense. I've tried other lubricating drops before and they either felt too watery and wore off quickly, or left a filmy residue. These hit a good middle ground — substantial enough to last but not heavy or uncomfortable. If your doctor has recommended lubricating drops post-surgery, or you deal with chronic dry eye, these are worth keeping in your routine. I'll keep buying them.

These work great to use daily to prevent dry eye and I love that they are individual use. You only need one for both eyes. The application is simple and for me, they do not cause any eye irritation.

I wasn’t sure if I should rate these as a four or five star - they’re not perfect, but I’ve had the best results from these drops than any others. They lubricate without blurring and last waaay longer than other drops. No pain with application. Dropper is better than the Systane PF dropper (IYKYK). The formula is not thick and they keep everything moving around without that gritty feeling. With dry eye you feel all the grit as your eyeball moves around but this ends that feeling. On good days (no autoimmune flares, no major environmental triggers) all I need are a couple drops in the morning, noon and night. And for Sjogrens dry eye, I think that’s pretty good. I think the “preservative free” aspect helps a lot too. Highly recommend if your tears evaporate too quickly or your eyes are just dry. This formula is very good.

Initially, I had an injury that resulted in two months of treatment by my doctor. This moisturizing drops seem to soothe so much better than anything else. Highly recommend. Also, you can see immediately after using which I found helpful. As I have used salve, which is truly moisturizing you have to use right before sleeping. My eyes are back to normal, but if there’s any irritation, I still get this and use it love it consistency as then, and I noticed the difference immediately..

I have tried so many eye drops and it was like putting water in my eyes. I finally found this one - what a difference. It relieves my irritation, puts a soothing coating on my eyes. It is very effective as I was using the other drops almost hourly. This I use maybe 2x a day. I am trying to get used to the bottle as it is a little different that the others I was used to. I have found no unpleasent scent. The single viles may be easier to use; but I didn't want a bunch of viles. I will get used to this type bottle and I am glad I bought it and would highly recommend. I am sure I will buy again.
