Very high quality
Both Olfa and NT Cutter seem to claim they invented the snap blade knife, regardless of whose idea it was, both make high quality knives and blades. This model has heft and a mechanism that is flawless. If you can appreciate the joy of using a fine and sturdy tool for the job, this will not disappoint.

Big fan of NT Cutter
NT Cutter make a great line of blade holders. No matter what you need, they've probably got one of the better designs. This one I like quite a bit for mat work.

Sharp, and easy to use
This is a great little cutter that I use for opening lots of packages. It's more solidly built than I had imagined from the picture, but not heavy. The clicking advancement motion for the blade is smooth, and the blade is quite sharp. Prior I had been using a full-sized box cutter, but this is a bit more agile. Advancing the blade just a tiny amount works well for cutting box tape without endangering any items inside that may be pressed against the box cover. It's also small enough that I can stash it in my monitor stand instead of the kitchen junk drawer.
