nice microvoltage lights for kitchen cabinets
Had a contractor flake out on me and didn't finish the cabinet microvoltage cabinet lighting. Just wires hanging down. So after a little research trying to figure things out, I took a chance and ordered these. Amazing -connected the wires, mounted them at the top of the glass-front cabinets, and they work great. A great accent to the kitchen.

Great looking/functioning puck
Over the years, we've bought/installed many of these pucks for various places around the home (knooks, interior window openings/spaces, under cabinets, etc). In some cases they replace old halogen pucks which we never fully trusted running since they ran so hot. In other cases, we installed them in fresh locations. In either case, if you understand basic low voltage lighting, they are easy to install (in the case of the old halogens, we just cut the old ones out and were able to reuse the bigger gauge lines with a new driver). They work great, they look professional, and they are well worth the cost. And since they are led they run cool. Highly recommend. We also just purchased 6 of the small-puck versions so we'll see if that install goes well too (it likely will).

Well made lights, easy to install
Used 10 of these lights for undershelf lighting in a home office installation. They look good and are quite bright so we have them on a dimmer which works out well. Had a problem initally when 4 of the lights came in bright white instead of warm white. Contacted Armacost custumer service and had a response within 15 minutes. They sent me new units to replace the incorrect ones. Very satisfied with the product and service.

Solid lights overall, but heads up on the flush mount install
I bought 4 of the black 2700k puck lights and opted for a flush install. The way the flush mount works is there are 3 rigid metal clips that screw on the top of the unit to hold the light in place from the top of the cabinet. I cut the holes in my cabinet with a 2 1/8" inch hole saw and found that the metal flush mount clips were just too rigid to bend enough to allow the puck light to slide into the hole and to be installed from the inside of the cabinet. I thought maybe I could get it to go if I really pushed hard, punched it, or if I smacked it firmly with a rubber hammer, but I didn't because I figured the light would break or bend. But luckily I had access to the top of the cabinet so I slid the unit in with no clips at first and then screwed the clips from the top outside of the cabinet. That worked perfectly, nice and snug. If you can't get access to the top side of your cabinet to screw the clips in then I HIGHLY RECCOMEND YOU TEST FIT THE FLUSH MOUNT ON A SCRAP SURFACE BEFORE YOU DRILL YOUR CABINET just incase you can't get it to fit either. It would be a disaster to cut the 2 1/8" hole and then switch to the puck mount install method which would only need a very small hole to be drilled for the wire to slide through. As far as quality, not too bad! The flush mount looks really good in my glass door cabinets. At the lowest dimmer settings one of my units is very noticeably dimmer than the other 3 but then matches brightness once I get up to 20% or higher. Also, I'm powering these on the same power supply with an LED strip under the same cabinets. At the highest power settings the LED strip appears to over power the brightness of these puck lights but does balance better at mid power levels. Perhaps if you were pairing these with LED strips you should go with high intensity LED strips only if you need task lighting but then maybe stick with less intensity LED strips if you just need accent lighting, which is my setup. Looking forward to enjoying these!

Armacost "Pureview" puck runs fine on 12V or 24V
The ad may say 12V operation but the user manual says 12 or 24V without much change in brightness so there's a regulator inside. That's a beautiful thing for general versatility (and vehicle use) AND these pucks respond to 0-100% PWM dimming at 12V or 24V or anything in-between. And they produce a prodigious amount of nice light. They don't get hot. The beam angle is around 120 degrees so they throw a flood. They might be a little much for the 18 inch under-cabinet duty but for those who like the cone-shaped image on the back splash and plenty of light these are worth a try. Hint: If you see a brand name of three letters, pass on by. As the reviewers say, those get uncomfortably hot.

Works with previous 12 V light system
I have a custom built desk unit with overhead cabinets in my office that I installed a 5 light LED puck set. One of the lights started to flicker and I couldn't stop it. I bought this so I wouldn't have to spend for a whole new set. It is 12 V, like the old set, and I checked that it worked before I did anything, which it did. I was able to splice the wires into the connector from the bad light, plug it into the terminal. The light is a little bit brighter than the old one, but it is in the corner of the unit behind my monitor, so it doesn't matter that much. The warm color is a good match to the old lights and not noticeably different. Much cheaper than a new light set.

Easy to install
We used these puck lights to replace our old halogen ones that are under our kitchen cabinets. They fit perfectly in the space that the old puck lights were in. They were easy to use. I like that they are dimmable. The company has great customer service. My husband called them 2 times to ask questions about installation and they were very helpful and patient. They look nice under my cabinets. And best of all they do not use as much electricity as the old halogen ones did.

Beautifully construction and appearance as well as superb customer service!
I recently purchased 6 of the Armacost puck lights and two of their 20 watt transformers. I was tired of using cheaply made lower cost puck lights for my under the cabinet lighting. These are just what I was looking for. It happens that one of the transformers was missing a small piece which helps to hold the wires securely at their connection. I could have easily returned it to Amazon and got a replacement. Even easier though was that I emailed Armacost support at 3:36 pm requesting the missing part. The next morning at 11.37 am I got a reply with the UPS tracking number telling me a new transformer was being shipped to my house. Two days later, I had the transformer! If that's not SUPERB customer service than I don't know what is! This gives me great confidence in this company. Installation was a little harder than I thought because you have to solder or, in some other way use connectors, to connect the lights in parallel. I used the solder method because I thought that would be the most secure. The part that makes this a little hard is that I chose to solder the wires with the pucks installed under the cabinet in order to know where to cut the wires to join them. That meant soldering more than a foot above the counter. It worked out great though!

Quality lights
Solid metal construction and much brighter than expected. I installed with a dimable LED driver and the dimming is very smooth from full bright to a very low level.

Sweet Honey of a Light.
Available in 2700K or 3000K, this is a fabulous lamp. super soft periphery and light, nice warm tones, 350 lumens is bright but not intrusive, 120 degree beam spread eliminates the "spot" effect. I am using just one of these in a shower/spa setup 10' x 5', and it is generous. Absolutely lovely light. Intelligent install design, and dimmable, as all lights should be. 10/10

Love love love these. Great for under the cupboards, seem very well made and will hopefully last. We put these on a dimmer and they look fantastic!

Great lights but take care installing because they don't like their lens being handled.
One of the lights out of 11 that I bought did not work after installation. It cycled on and off. I held it accidentally by its lens during installation, which probablycaused the failure. I love the lights, however, I've given a low score because they are fragile.
